You'll find lots of restaurants from casual to funky to fine dining and plenty of specialty boutique shops with one-of-a kind designs in clothing and accessories. Be sure not to miss Sandestin Baytowne Wharf, just 2 miles from Surfside Resort. Open early and late. Baytown is a town in itself designed like New Orleans French Quarter on the Bay with open-air restaurants and views of the bay and marina. Music, dancing, shopping, dining and fun abound. Destin is popular for featuring regular jazz, art, wine tasting festivals. Outdoor bars and restaurants feature great live music and dancing, giving families, couples and singles anything you are looking for in a resort vacation on the beach.
