Built in 2000, Max’s Couloir is a 1940’s style shingle beach cottage sited on a secluded 1 ½ acre lot. This quiet neighborhood is just off the bike path, on the way to beautiful Long Point Beach. An open living/dining/kitchen area with wood floors and exposed ceiling is surrounded by windows and a sliding French door to the South facing deck. The large second floor master suite has its own bathroom and deck, ideal for catching the beautiful sunrise or lounging after a day at the beach. The house has plenty of windows to catch the light and gentle winds. The house is well appointed with cozy period furnishings and all the comforts you expect in a newer home. Now booking for our 9th Summer season, the landscaping has taken hold and the property is absolutely beautiful!

Nearest Beach: beach at 1.5 Miles
We like to say that our home is '15 minutes' from everywhere on the Island and that is pretty much true. The house is just past the airport in between Edgartown-West Tisbury Road and the Atlantic Ocean. Alley's Country store is about 10 minutes away up-Island. Beyond that, downtown Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs are '15 minutes away' and Aquinnah is about 20 minutes but a spectacular drive. At Max's Couloir you can enjoy the calm and quiet the Vineyard is known for.
