Day Trips: Tomales is 10 minutes away - a country town with general story, bakery (get there early), restaurant, and quaint churches. Bodega Bay lies to the north - 30 minutes. Enjoy shopping, restaurants and the great views. Travel south on Highway 1 along Tomales bay to Point Reyes Station (40 minutes) - enjoy great views and seafood along the way. Visit Inverness and Point Reyes National Seashore while you are there. Explore the back roads of Marin County and enjoy the scenery - farms, rolling hills, solitude. Within an hour visit Novato, San Rafael, Southern Marin or enjoy the Sonoma wine country.

Biking: If you like to road bike (bicycle), the back roads of Marin are fabulous.

Loved the house! Pretty much right on the beach!! Loved the fact that it was semi-remote, away from high tourist vacation spots. Just far enough from the big city of San Fran. We went site seeing in San Francisco, Pt. Reyes, Hwy 1, and the beautiful town of Petaluma. With many stops to roadside fresh market stands. The Dillion Beach area is beautiful. You can see the penninsula of Point Reyes Nat. Seashore from the beach. My 4 year old son loved all the starfish, crabs and other sea life that were abundant on the beach! The house looks exactly like it does in the pictures but better. It has everything to make you feel at home. We bought groceries and made all of our meals. Very easy check in and check out, with a very friendly and helpful family right down the street! Very affordable, well kept home that i called all mine for a week!! This was our 1st time renting a vacation home instead of staying in a hotel and i would recommend it to everyone! An unforgettable time! We will be back soon!!
