Peaceful and private, yet close to all Mt Washington Valley activities. This vacation destination is available year round by the week or weekend. Come for a Winter visit and find yourself located just minutes away from several local ski areas. Skiers and riders can enjoy several nearby mountain resorts such as Attitash, Cranmore, King Pine and Wildcat along with cross-country trails. New Hampshire snowmobile trails cross at the end of our street. Your family can also enjoy ice fishing, tubing, skating, snowshoeing and sledding. For a Summer visit, we are situated within walking distance to pristine Silver Lake, with it's 3 private town beaches. Enjoy all that it has to offer: swimming, fishing, canoeing and boating. Nearby you'll find hiking trails, biking, golf (regulation and miniature), horseback riding, movie theatres, water slides, amusements, Mt. Washington, the Fryeburg Fair (Fall), Antique and Tax Free Outlet shopping. Fine and casual dining available.

Notes: After an exhilarating day of playing outdoors, relax in our comfortable and roomy New Hampshire retreat. The Living Room has seating for many with 2 arm chairs and a 15 foot wraparound couch. There is a TV and DVD player here. Large Dining Room with a walkout slider to the Patio; Breakfast Bar and spacious kitchen with all amenities. Downstairs, there is a full Bath with a lovely corner shower and a mud room with washer/dryer and racks for hanging coats. Upstairs there are three large bedrooms. Master has a Queen bed and a TV/VCR combo, second is also a Queen bed with a TV/VCR combo and a Playstation game system. The third bedroom has a set of bunk-beds and another twin. The couch in the Living Room is a full size sleeper sofa if you need extra sleeping quarters. There is an unfinished room that contains a sofa, side table, ping pong table and a stereo system for the kids to hang out in. There is a variety of children's video tapes and Playstation games for your use.

One car attached garage and a farmers porch in the front. In the back of the house there is a Patio with a dining table 8 chairs, a fire pit and even some bases and a green monster for your wiffle ball enthusiasts. There is also an outside shower for rinsing off after your trip to the beach.

Just 8 miles to Conway, and 12 miles to North Conway. This is a beautiful and quiet setting no matter what the season. The Mount Washington Valley's natural beauty has something to please every member of the family.

My family just enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful house. I have never stayed in such a clean vacation rental! It was spotless. The location is great. Nestled in the woods, far enough away from things, but not too long a drive to get to places. The house had everything to make us feel at home. We are a family of six and we had room to spare. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

Great Vacation Home

In my opinion this is a perfect vacation home. The home was exactly how it was described. My wife and I took our five children up and were very pleased with all the space we had. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the location is very private yet was ( just as described) very close to just about everything in the White Mountains. The house was well stocked with everything from pots and pans to games for the kids. My wife and I really appreciated this because we saved lots of money by just cooking dinner at the rental home. And we had everything we needed right in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the game room as did the kids. But what was really awesome was how easy all this was. The owner is very nice and easy to talk to. If I had to rate the customer service 1-10 it would definately be a 10. I would most certainly recommend this property to friends and family and we are already looking forward to our stay next summer. I also reccomend if you have children to check out Story Land. My kids were in heaven for the five hours that we were there. Very family friendly. Also check out the beach which the owner gives a parking pass for. Stunning view of the mountains, quiet, and the water was pristine. Again, very family friendly. Especially when the house is a few seconds away.

Clean, comfortable, good location

We stayed for a weekend and the house was a great home base for us. It's very clean and has a very comfortable, cozy feel to it while still allowing for room to spread out, plus the lot and road are really quiet.

Owner is friendly and quick to reply, also knows the area and is helpful with recommendations.

Bedrooms are each a good size, having two showers is convenient, game room is a nice plus, and kitchen is also fairly big and easy to use. Nice sized back yard w/woods surrounding it. The house is secluded and private but also close to Silver Lake and town.

Our family stayed here for a week in August 2008. The house was beautiful, well-supplied, and clean. The description and details given on the site were very accurate. This is a great place for families with kids - our kids loved the game room and fire pit.
The owner was very prompt and friendly in our communications.
We loved the private beach in Madison as well as many beautiful attractions in and around the area. The Yankee Smokehouse BBQ, recommended by the owner, was excellent!
We do wish check-in time was a bit earlier and check-out time was a bit later.
I would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family!

Good time had by us all

We had a great weekend skiing. Lots of fresh snow. The house was very clean and nicely set up. There was everything you would need in the kitchen. would love to see the lake and beach in the warmer weather. Looking forward to staying again.
