DESCRIPTION: Our 4 bedroom home features 4 bathrooms (one is poolside cabana with shower), and 4 bedrooms (king size bed, kings size bed, queen size bed, 2 twins in last bedroom, with a fold out sofa bed in the great room.
We are under a half mile from the South Beach Marina and Village, where you will find all kinds of land and sea activities, including shopping and dining with nightly entertainment. There is a bike shop in the village that delivers and picks up rentals which guests may schedule at their leisure. Tennis courts in the marina and village can be booked at the pro shop next to the Salty Dog Cafe. Once relaxing at our home away from home, you'll find yourself within easy access of shops and resturants, bike, jet ski and boat rentals, evening outdoor entertainment, etc.; it is a mile+ from the three public golf courses at Sea Pines (including HarbourTown Golf Links).
The Sea Pines Beach Club is available to our guests and their families at no additional fee; enjoy outdoor oceanside dining with night time entertainment and daily kid camp activities (small participation fee), and wooden beach lounger and umbrella rentals by day or week. Sundries, cover-ups, flip flops, towels and beach fun accessories can be purchased at the on-site gift shop 7 days a week. For your quiet days, chairs and umbrellas can be rented and delivered daily to the beach just down the path out of the yard, or you can use the beach chairs which are stored in our poolside cabana. The Sea Pines Health club is $10 per day for our guests, or $50 for full week per person.
Google maps sometimes shows our house incorrectly on the other side of South Sea Pines Drive, for some reason. Please ask for an accurate map to be sent to you, as there are no streets to cross on our path to the beach (only 600 feet to the sand).
Attached please find an accurate map of the house location; sometimes google maps and mapquest will misplace our home because of street name changes a few years ago.
Your contract can be sent by email as a PDF file if you are interested in reserving your stay. Weekly rates have been posted below for your convenience. Discounted rates are offered to last minute bookings based on availability, 5 days prior to arrival.

The house features 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms:
1 King (with private bath),
1 King bedroom and 1 Queen bedroom (that share a hall bath with shower),
1 bedroom with two Twin beds (bathroom features jaquzzi jetted tub),
plus an added Queen size sofa bed in great room.
Along side of the heated pool is where you'll find our poolside enclosed bathroom with sink, shower and dressing area for post-beach and pool conveniences.
*Heat for pool is a separate purchase for guests as per request, paid directly to Suburban Propane and non-refundable.
The house easily sleeps 8 -10, is 600 feet to the beach, and has a private pool.

For information about South Beach Marina and Village, please visit southbeachvillagecom... That's where you'll find the Salty Dog Cafe/Restaurant and the dockside bar in South Beach Village. Great people, nice atmosphere - don't miss it, with kids or without. Also at the marina is Tommy and his boat 'Shadow'... great shark fishing with Tommy - just ask my kids to see their catch and photos.
Additionally, Harbor Town with all of its shopping and dining is just a 15-20 minute bike ride away, as are the equestrian stables and trail riding for all ages.
Also accessable by bicycle or car is the Sea Pines Beach Club which will be available to you as a guest at our home (pass will be provided). With live entertainment, kids actiities daily in season (treasure hunts, hair braiding, tie dying, etc), food and drink all oceanside, this is a nice place to spend time alone or with the family. Umbrellas and chairs are available for rent there by the day or by week (discounted) - definitely great to have available for you to enjoy during your holiday on Hilton Head Island.
Additionally, their wooden beach chairs and umbrellas can also be reserved, delivered and set up at our beach area (walk #16). Hours of drop-off and pick-up (via their beach buggy and wagon) are 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

In 2005 I decided as a single parent, to purchase this house as a home away from home to enjoy with my four daughters. The criteria I used when deciding on how many bedrooms/ bathrooms/ pool/ location, was very simple... I wanted to own the kind of house that we had always rented whenever/ where ever we traveled. It had to be close enough to the beach for kids to walk, close enough to a village or marina for fun days and nights. It had to have a pool, because well, we like to swim and sun. When I saw this house, it was love at first sight - and the honeymoon's end is no where in sight. I began renting the house out in 2006, and since then, we have many repeat guests that book next season's holiday before they leave. It truly is a happy home that is always so hard to leave. This is our fourth year at this lovely home. The spacious 4 bedroom house sits back from the road and is ideally located. The local tennis courts are a 5 minute bike ride; two terrific golf courses are just a couple of miles up the road and, best of all, Hilton Head’s terrific beach is a 4 minute walk down the connecting path.
The house is clean and comfortable providing ample space for ourselves, family and guests. The well appointed kitchen, dining area, living room and TV room flow into each other making conversation easy throughout the house. The owner is friendly and quick to respond to any issues that may arise. We hope to return every year. It is the perfect retreat for our family and friends.
This house is located in a great area of Sea pines in close proximity to South Beach marina. The private beach access is nice and well maintained. However, we arrived to find the home in need of a thorough cleaning. For the kind of money involved, we were disappointed to find this to be the case. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and responded promptly to address a couple of issues we had during our stay. Overall, we had good time but would like to have seen a little more attention to cleaning between guests.
My family and I arrived to a very clean and spacious home in Sea Pines Plantation, SC. The first thing we noticed was the fresh smell of warm clean towels. After such a long road trip, we always take showers and sit around the pool with total privacy. Its great to just take in the nature of this property. The next big plus is the short walkway to the beach. After returning from the beach, its always great to either call in pizza or just go down to the Salty Dog Cafe. Its so close, we all love just walking down the bike trails. I would recommend this weekly property to anyone.
