Perfect, peaceful getaway... even off-season!

In the fall of 2007, I had the pleasure of staying for 5 nights at this charming waterfront cottage in Eastham, MA in what I am convinced is the best location on Cape Cod. (And being a resident of Massachusetts, I have been exploring the Cape for years!)
Upon reaching the Nauset Haven community, which is literally nestled just off the main road in little pocket of nature, I was instantly relaxed and felt right at home. The cottage, so charmingly decorated, made me feel immediately relaxed, and the first thing I did was put my feet up on the porch, with a cup of tea, and take in the beautiful setting of my surroundings. I felt like the pond was put there just for me :-)
For the next few days (and I never wanted to leave), I divided my time between exploring Provincetown (which is just a quick car ride away), shopping in Orleans, eating greasy delicious fried seafood at the many family friendly restaurants in the area, and of course walking the beautiful beaches. This cottage is so close to multiple beaches, that each night at 5pm I would pick one, take my book, my digital camera, and my beach chair, and go perch myself by the ocean's edge with my feet in the sand and wait. I say "wait" because you cannot imagine how beautiful the sunsets are at these beaches. Every night, without fail, I was surrounded by beauty.
I travel a lot. Sometimes with friends or family, and often times on my own. This cottage was just so comforting, the location so delightful, and the weather was absolutely perfect. I remember calling my mother after 2 days of my trip and telling her she had to come join me!
Of course, she joined me, and we both cannot wait to go again this year! Thank you for having us! We will be booking soon :-)
Sincerely,
Kristy from Natick, MA
