Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Nestled on a secluded cove in the heart of the Seneca Lake wine trail is our remodeled lake home we call 'Getg Inn'. Relax in this 1100 sq ft home which is literally 15 ft from lakeshore. The panoramic view is breathtaking. Located on the west side of Seneca Lake this home offers you both sunshine and shade during the day. The seawall is flat and 15 feet away from the house. No smoking inside. We're fully furnished with everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. Pets that are house broken and polite are welcome for an additional fee. 2 single person kayak's available if user assumes risk. Screened in porch.

This fully furnished one story, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located near Dresden on the west side of Seneca Lake.

Cozy, comfortable, clean Lake House. Gorgeous lake front view to watch sunrise. Three bedrooms two bathroom. Sleeps 6 easily [1 queen bed and 2 double beds]. West shore Seneca Lake on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. 15 minutes from Geneva,Watkins Glen, Hobart and William Smith College, restaurants, groceries, movies, bowling alley etc. Kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove, oven, refrigerator, all utensils, pots and pans.

Screened in porch with deck off master bedroom. Nice grassy yard. VCR and DVD with assorted movies (including children's movies), Swimming, great fishing, Water starts shallow with gradual incline. Sea wall with access to the lake from the dock by ladder. Check in time is 3 PM and check out is 12:00 AM. Daily rentals considered if available with a 3 night minimum.

We love Seneca Lake. Kayaking on the lake is fabulous. The screened porch protects you from the weather and makes you feel like you are actually on the dock. Waking up to the water is the best part.

Lovely Property

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. The pictures are exactly what you see on the website. The house comfortably sleeps 6 adults with plenty of room to spread out. We will be booking here again next year.

The best VRBO experience we ever had!

Immaculately clean is an under statement! We have done many VRBO vacations and this was the best experience we've had. This home was super clean. Everything is as described (actually better than described). All details were taken care of at this rental. They had everything we could think of. The kitchen is fully stocked. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the kayaks. The porch overlooking the lake is pretty incredible. The setting is one of a kind. This a relaxing spot and the home is big enough to handle the entire family. So glad we did it and can't wait to go back!

Immaculately clean, comfortable cottage with spectacular views of Seneca Lake, especially at sunrise and sunset. Loved the screened in porch. Kitchen is well stocked; beds extremely comfortable.View from the master bedroom is breathtaking. Sue and Jim were great--answered all of our questions and were helpful in every way possible.Their attention to detail inside and outside of the cottage made our family vacation a great one. Location was excellent and we were able to explore so much of the area--Corning Glass Museum, Watkins Glen, Harris Hill and the National Soaring Museum, Penn Yan, Geneva, Hammondsport. Keuka Lake, Montour Falls and wineries.
The lake cove on which cottage is located is quiet, serene and very good for kayaking.
This is one of the finest houses we've rented through VRBO. We highly recommended it and hope to stay in it again in the future.Thank you Sue & Jim.

More than we hoped for

Plenty of room. New AC was a delight. All the little things that are important to us were standard. Wine glasses. Steak knives. A great Weber grill. Terrific screened-in porch. Nice, thoughtful neighbors. Master bedroom is a real treat. Owners were a pleasure to work with. Location is terrific.

Wonderful Fall Get-away

Each year we try to make a trip to visit Lake Seneca and the wineries. We always look forward to our stay at the "Getg Inn" as the accommodations are exceptional and make for a "home away from home" experience. The exceptonally clean accommodations provide for everything, literally a turn key operation, as there is nothing the owners haven't thought of and your relaxing get-away vacation starts the minute you walk in the door. Should one have a special need, assistance with household operations or guidance/suggestions for local attactions, the owners provide immediate assistance and response. If you are looking for superb accommodations located directly on the lake, the "Getg Inn" is where you want to stay!! We are already looking forward to our 2012 stay.
