Great Value. Great Neighborhood. Quiet and Low Density

We did a quick getaway from Sacramento in the fall. We really liked the reverse floor plan and tall vaulted ceilings upstairs. Bedrooms downstairs were all cute and cozy. Kitchen was big enough but probably needs to be refurbished a bit (although it had everything that we needed and appliances were all new-ish) Upstairs deck was great in the mornings and does get lots of direct sun. We invited some friends for a BBQ and the upstairs area worked great with tons of great room seating and large dining table. Overall, we thought that it was a great deal and will be back next fall. The home is surrounded by trees but still gets lots of good light upstairs. We didn't use the sauna but maybe next time.

Unforgettable Trip!

This was my second trip to beautiful Lake Tahoe and it definitely will not be my last. I was recommended this cabin by a few of my family friends who stayed here in the previous Summer and the cabin was better than expected. I went up with my girlfriend and four other of our friends, which was perfect because the cabin sleeps 6. The best part of my day was waking up every morning with a fresh cup of coffee and enjoying the crisp morning air and beautiful view from the deck. Our days were spent either on the lake, hiking, mountain bike riding or just going for nice walks around the neighborhood. I especially like this cabin because their are amazing mountain bike trails directly behind the cabin. As the days began to wind down, we would grab a glass of wine and grill up some dinner with the BBQ that is also on the deck. Typically after dinner, we finished our nights relaxing around the fire pit. All in all, it was a great place to stay and I know all of us are looking forward to going back next Summer!

Comfy Casual Clean Cabin

We have been coming back every Fall to this delightful cabin in the woods, after the summer crowds disappear. We love the solitude up here. The upstairs great room has a romantic glass fireplace and we were mesmerized by the fire swirling around. There are 3 big sofas, and I enjoyed reading in the sun. The upstairs deck is huge and we sat around the fire pit table drinking wine and barbecuing. We did some hiking--the Rubicon Trail is our favorite! We also did part of the Tahoe Rim Trail near Tahoe City. The hike to Ellis Peak is steep but beautiful. Our grandkids from Reno were able to join us for the weekend, and this cabin is very kid friendly. I love the cabin decor--the vintage snowshoes, skiis and fishing basket on the wall, contemporary but with that Old Tahoe feel. The beds are comfortable. They even have spa robes for you to use during your stay. There is a sauna but we didnt use it. The burgers at the Bridgetender weren't as good as in the past, but the Bloody Mary is outstanding, and you can't beat the ambience. The Mexican food at the Blue Agave is great, and a nice lake view too.

Quiet and Relaxing

We stayed at the cabin for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very comfortable and has a large living area upstairs with lots of seating, it is well appointed with furniture and furnishings, comfortable beds, and is equipped with the comforts of home. The neighborhood is quiet and we could peek at the lake. The cabin is close to hiking trails and we would love to return in the winter to enjoy many of the ski resorts nearby as well as cross-country skiing in the forest trails just behind the cabin. It's a nice place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

wow! this a great get away . super quiet top of hill for great views. the BIG room upstairs affords an atmosphere for great fellowship.ne bedroom is small, but the overall experience more than compensates. Decorated elegantly.We felt like we were a luxury hotel..All in all, an excellent time.
