Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Wonderful Riverbend complex that is located right next to the Snowflake Ski Lift. You don't have to haul your equipment for blocks or take a bus to the lift. This Riverbend complex is truly SKI-IN/SKI-OUT.

Our condo has been recently renovated this year. It has vaulted ceilings in the living room, master bedroom and the second bedroom. It is an end unit which is larger than most and allows for the rooms to be larger and with more windows.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with private bath. The second bedroom has a king bed with two twins and a full bath. The unit has a full size washer and dryer and DSL high speed wireless access.

Main street Breckenridge is walkable on Four O'Clock Road or if you don't feel like walking there is a bus stop located 50 yards from the complex. The bus gives you access to anywhere you would want to go in town. There is a heated underground parking garage that keeps you and your car out of the elements. Off the garage there is a private indoor ski locker for the unit.

There are 2 hot tubs (one indoor, one outdoor), a sauna, a steam room and a workout room. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything that you would need to prepare a meal. TV's and VCR/or DVD are in each room.

Unforgettable Ski Trip!

My husband and I visited his sister and her boyfriend in CO before my husband deployed and we took them on a ski weekend! before that they had done some day trips but we wanted to treat them! This place was fabulous with plenty of room for all of us! It was next door to the lift and the place to rent skis & buy lift tickets! Absolutely perfect weekend!

Perfect Ski In Ski Out!

We loved this place. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, as well as spices. It was the perfect location. We skied home everyday for lunch and walked right outside to snowflake chairlift for afternoon skiing. The owners were very attentive and checked on us throughout the week. I can't say enough great things about this place.

Wonderful Rental, Great Location and Updated Amenities

We stayed here over the holidays with our family. The location was a very short walking distance to ski lifts, ski/snowboard rentals, hiking trails for snow shoeing, spa, restaurants, liquor store and shopping. We had a full house, but everyone was able to comfortably sleep on a bed and visit within the the community spaces.

There were no issues with accessibility and the underground, heated, secure garage made for even easier access allowing us to keep all outdoor equipment out of the condo space and easily dropped off after a day of skiing.

Amenities were also included with rental, such as fitness center and hot tub. These were fabulous alternatives for anyone that did not want to participate in a snowing activity that day.

Would highly recommend this unit for anyone looking for convenience to shops/activities/restaurants and comfortable living.

Wonderful ski-in/ski-out condo! Great location and beautiful!

This condo was perfect for my family! Rarely do accommodations exceed our expectations but this one did! It is beautiful- very bright with vaulted ceilings, which we loved. The bedrooms were a nice size and the bathrooms even had heated floors! The fireplace made for cozy afternoons after skiing. The chairlift is right out the door! There is also a nice run that allows you to ski in easily. This was great and allowed us to come in for lunch instead of eating on the mountain. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook- this never happens. It was better equipped than my own kitchen. Downtown Breckenridge was a short 5-min walk. We will definitely be back!

Lovely condo; Serious maintenance issues

The condo was spacious, exceptionally well-appointed and in a superb location. Unfortunately, after the first night, we were unable to stay there since the apparently oft-repaired door lock failed and trapped us in the condo on the first morning. We had to dismantle the lock from the inside to escape and the maintenance company: Blue River Property Management in Breckenridge was unable to provide a replacement lock or a solution to secure the condo. Morning turned to afternoon and most of our party decided to ski for the two hours left on our lift tickets and rentals; one person never got to the slopes at all as he stayed behind to watch over our belongings and the workmen and they came and went. Unfortunately they were unable to solve this simple problem. The owners were very responsive but couldn’t materially alter the situation from afar, but they did kindly secure an alternative, but far inferior, condo in the same building to which we decamped after 8 hrs of attempted lock repairs, and stayed in for the rest of our trip. However, the owners also refused to negotiate a discount for our lost vacation day, the 8 hrs of hassles and the inferior replacement condo.
Because the condo is lovely and well located, I would normally chalk this one up to experience. However it was obvious that Blue River maintenance has some difficulty in keeping this building in working order: the ski in-ski out door could not be opened from the outside for the duration of our stay (another lock issue!) and the garage door was broken for 2 days. Steer clear unless you want some surprises in your vacation.

Owner's Response: The lock issue on our unit described above was an unfortunate development despite our best efforts to promptly remedy the dilemma.

Once notified, we spent the entire day on the telephone that Saturday with the property manager and two different locksmiths trying to resolve the problem. In the end, we WERE able to secure our unit for the night…and had an entirely new lockset installed the next morning…but our guests elected to relocate to another unit in the complex that we arranged and paid for.

We offered to make a generous donation to our guests' dinner that Saturday night at the Breckenridge restaurant of their choice. We did offer to reimburse ski rental expense and lift ticket for the guest who elected to stay behind and not ski that Saturday even though the property manager offered to stay and monitor the unit while the guests skied. The rest of the party did get out to ski that day, albeit later than planned. We arranged and paid for a late checkout (4PM) so our guests could get a full day of skiing in on their last day.

We have sincerely apologized for this situation that was beyond our control. Thankfully, there was a unit available in our complex that we rented for our guests since they elected to move out of our unit. The cost of the other rental was actually more than what we were charging them. We were receptive to discussing other compensation in addition to what we had already offered (above).

We appreciate our guests' frustration and we have repeatedly apologized for the imposition. In our nearly 10-year VRBO rental experience, this is the first negative incident we have encountered--certainly an exceptional set of circumstances--which we and the property management company tried to address in a prompt manner with a sense of urgency.
