The remodeled three level architect designed four bedroom/ four bath house is in the prestigious gated community of Pajaro Dunes. The house offers dramatic views of Monterey Bay and is steps away from pristine secluded sandy beach. The amenities of Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel are 30 minutes away. Pajaro has 24 hour security, common area walking/biking/jogging trails, professional tennis courts, volleyball & basketball courts, Fitness Center & Spa. The house has 4 spacious bedrooms EACH with its own bath. The bedrooms accommodate 8 guests with bed configuration of K/Q/Q/2T.The den can accommodate 2 additional guests on a double futon. The bathrooms are all tiled with either stall showers or Jacuzzi tubs with shower. The large great room has high ceilings, wood burning fireplace, a dining area and access to two sheltered decks. The kitchen is fully equipped-just bring your food! All linens & towels, (except beach towels) are provided. The house is tastefully furnished& decorated.

Recent Upgrades: The main level of the house has gleaming hardwood floors. The great room has a flat panel HD television set

Parking: The house has a driveway with onsite parking for 6 cars. The majority of homes at Pajaro Dunes are reached by a long boardwalk from a general parking area

Why Yaffa Scranton chose Monterey

My husband and I were looking for a beach house for 4 years. We were looking for an upscale secluded place with great water view and an easy beach access within one hour from Silicon Valley. We finally found this house-it has all the above plus unique architecture.The house required updating which is a painful process but we did it successfully in 2006.

When we are in our beach house we feel like thousands of miles away from the hustle and bustle of the Valley and the beach is phenomenal- we walk for miles and the beach never ends. We found our dream house and we are happy to share it with you

The community offers three miles of pristine ,sandy beaches walking, biking and jogging trails, professional tennis courts, fitness center and spa. Bird watching of the extensive birds population is also a favorite pass time. The amenities of Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel are only 30 minute away, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Pebble Beach ,famous golf courses and exquisite restaurants. Bird watching and kayaking at world -renown Elkhorn Slough is ten minutes away.

Rejuvenating

Warnings about this house: you will not want to leave it after spending time here. We all had a fantastic time! We have rented this house five times. It has become a family tradition to have our annual family reunion at this beach house. It is a wonderful way to make lasting memories for all the kids.

This is truly a little piece of paradise. It is so quiet here. The house has all the amenities of home plus more. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms are so convenient. The loft was a perfect place for our teen age nephew. The kitchen has all the comforts of home. A huge added bonus is the off street parking.

The beach is so close and it is a clean beach with not many people. The kids loved to boogie board in the waves. Collecting sand dollars was so much fun. It was a quest each day to find as many intact sand dollars as possible. The daily walks on the beach were different adventures each. Shore bird watching became a new hobby. The sunsets were beautiful... a photographers' canvas.

The two weeks passed by so quickly, yet at times it was as if time stood still. There is so much wildlife here that we were constantly entertained. This is a wonderful place to recuperate from the everyday life stresses. It is perfect for anyone, ranging from one couple to a whole family reunion.

A special "thank you" goes out to the homeowners of this warm and lovely home. Yaffa was so easy to work with and genuinely cared so much about us. It is her love and devotion that has transformed this house into a home away from home for all of us.

Fabulous vacation home!

This home is so perfect, that I've rented it annually for the past 3 years and already have 2014 booked. The size is perfect for a large family, multiple families and the best for a girls getaway. Multiple bedrooms/bathrooms, fully functional kitchen, view of the ocean from the living room. The boardwalk down to the beach is right outside the front door. You just have to bring food and clothes, everything else is provided. Yaffa is very responsive and accomodating and the cleanliness of the home is beyond amazing. The best deal in Pajaro Dunes you'll find!

We had a wonderful time at our Pajaro Dunes rental. We stayed for a week and upon arrival we realized we had entered into one of the most relaxing and inviting homes we had ever stayed in. This house is a few steps from a few of the Beach and then with a few steps down - you are on the beach. I even found a perfectly formed Silver Dollar - a joy I have not felt since childhood. Our first morning was amazing - seabirds flying through the mist and a few of the ocean from the top floor was the perfect area to view the many Pelicans flying about in their pre-historic majesty. Also, one might feel renting a home leave little room for customer service... this is not true in this instance... Yaffa is incredibly responsive and helpful. She is so kind and willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a happy and relaxing stay. We truly had a wonderful time and mark this as one of our best vacations ever. We were so close to all of the vacation 'hot spots' but at the end of the day it was nice to come back to a place that felt like home. Thank you Yaffa - we are already trying to organize our next visit to your lovely beach home.

Girls Birthday Weekend

Six friends from high school got together to celebrate our 65th birthday together in Pajaro Dunes. This house was perfect for a big group. Most had their own room and bath - and for ladies that means a whole bunch! House was very clean. Nice walking paths near the house and very easy access to the beach. A very enjoyable weekend. The negative for some might be that the house is on many levels and there are a lot of steps, although not steep. Steps from driveway to house are a bit steeper, but there is an alternative ramp with less steps nearby. An easier route to house for carrying in luggage, etc.

Family weekend

We spent the weekend with our son and daughter and spouses, grandchildren and two guests. The house was everything it was advertised to be and more--exceptionally clean and well maintained, spacious rooms, everything we needed in the kitchen and lots of room for our whole group. The bedrooms were very comfortable for the three couples and the grandaughters, and we especially enjoyed having a bathroom with each bedroom. The boys enjoyed the loft, and with the house being on three levels, we never felt crowded. There was lots of room for preparing and serving meals, a large table for eating and playing games, and comfortable furniture for watching TV. We had a very enjoyable time and hope to return in the future. Yaffa was very gracious and helpful in all our communications with her, and we highly recommend the house for anyone wanting a pleasant stay on the beach.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
