This unique, 12+ acre property in the heart of covered bridge country is an easy drive from Montreal (1½ hours) or Burlington (~1 hour). The octagon is located just 12 miles from Jay Peak Ski Resort, and even closer to 2 state-of-the-art golf courses. This is a 4-season property with easy access to the Long Trail, other great hiking, the VAST trail system and many natural waterways that provide canoeing, kayaking and swimming adventures. Also, you will conveniently be within 2 miles to shopping and fine dining. Or, you can relax at home, enjoying your vacation in a grand room with an open floor plan centered around a large hearth complete with a comfortable sunken, circular couch. Enjoy the 15-foot, hand-built stone fireplace that provides warmth and atmosphere. A rambling wraparound deck looks out over the Green Mountains. Pets are potentially permitted. Payment Options and Rental Terms : All weekly rentals will commence at 5pm on Sundays and will end with check-out promptly at 12 noon. Minimum rentals are for 3-nights and maximum rental periods may be negotiated. Payment will be accepted via credit card or in the form of a certified check or money order. Any unused security deposits will be returned within three days of checkout. Renters are expected to leave the Octagon in reasonably clean and secure condition.

Enosburg Falls, VT is the perfect destination town for a family summer vacation or for a reunion weekend of ski friends. A series of covered bridges provides a great background to view fall foliage. Spectacular mountain views and beautiful pasture lands surround this small village. This region is the recreation playground of Northern VT. Jay Peak Resort, Smugglers' Notch and Stowe Ski Area are all within close driving distance. The famous Long Trail divides the region while a rails-to-trails recreation path and an extensive system of natural waterways allow access to all the geography. State-of-the-art golf courses and antique shopping provide hours of diversion. There is something for everyone in this beautiful spot located 1.5 hours from Montreal, 1 hour from Burlington, and close enough to drive from Boston or New York.

The Octogon is an experience that everyone should have. It seems like a strange idea for a house, but the pictures don't do the livingroom justice. Great place overall, highly recommended.

The pet option is a nice one, they have a dog door and all.
