The Highland Lakes area in the Hill Country of Texas is famous for its beauty and recreational appeal. There are numerous outfitters for the sporting enthusiast. Whether your favorite sport is golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, or shopping, Horseshoe Bay makes a great 'headquarters' from which to explore the many opportunities for fun in central Texas. Marble Falls is the closest city, known for its charming Main St. and excellent restaurants. Llano is the county seat, known for its antique stores, barbeque, and the Llano River. The Llano Uplift is a famous geological feature, extending for miles around, with exposed rock among the oldest on the planet, and gemstones found even today out in the rough. Enchanted Rock, a monolith of pink granite, and famous Indian gathering ground, is nearby, just outside of Fredericksburg, which is known for its German heritage, great shopping and restaurants. Austin is just about 50 miles east; San Antonio is 80 miles south.

Special Spot: This is a beautiful, quiet condo with travertine floors in the main living areas, wool carpet in master bedroom. There are many features you will enjoy including a fireplace, south facing patio and deck with outdoor furniture, cozy decor inside, kitchen stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils, nearly new EnergyStar washer/dryer, and nearly new A/C. A recently remodeled abode you will enjoy calling home!

Golf: There are many well-known golf courses in the area which are available to the public for a nominal fee. Horseshoe Bay facilities are only available to members of the Horseshoe Bay Club. These are not available to renters of this condo, sorry. However, this condo enjoys a fantastic view of the 17th hole and its fairway.
