This is a quintessential, original Vermont log cabin, and is one of the few built with original Vermont logs! Located on a cul-de-sac, and surrounded by hundreds of acres of lush forest. This is a true nature love's paradise, with the infamous Green River Reservoir only 5 minutes away (kayaking, swimming),and horse farms, mountain biking, etc. within minutes as well. During peak foliage season, see panoramic views of lush, colorful trees for miles, with views of several ski resorts in the distance. Incredible sunsets, and winter views of the Northern Lights are frequent. This cabin is really more like an Austrian Chalet. It has a loft, large stone fireplace, huge porch, and a big office with access to DirecTV and a computer with internet access. You'll love listening to our CD juke box, and in the winter, cuddling up next to our 20-foot fireplace, or watching a video. The cabin is currently also on the market for sale. Nearest Airport: Burlington International at 40 Miles
Nearest Motorway: I-89 at 20 Miles
Car: necessary
My cabin is surrounded by 500 acres of land--that can be used for hiking and cross country skiing, as well as 3 major ski resorts within 30 minutes (Stowe, Smugglers' Notch (great for kids) and Jay Peak. Green Mountain Reservoir--a *Jewel in Vermont for Kayaking, fishing and swimming, which can be reached by hiking behind my house.
