We cater to folks who are looking for a seasonal rental of 3-5 months. So if you are a snowbird searching for a clean, comfortable winter retreat, look no further. Our attractive home is fully furnished and equipped with everything you'll need for an enjoyable winter in the sun. In addition to 1200 sq ft of living space, there is a laundry/utility room and two Lanai/Florida rooms (one of which has an additional eating area).

All taxes and utilities are paid by us. This includes: electricity, local and long distance phone service, cable TV, internet, heat and air conditioning. Rental rates are listed below.

Enjoy the "small town" atmosphere of this private community for people 55 years and older by attending activities at the community clubhouse (swimming pool, shuffleboard, billiards, potluck dinners, bingo and card games), or go to the public library nearby and borrow a book to read quietly at home.

Conveniently located on State Route 70 with easy access to I-75 and points north and south. Shopping, restaurants and other amenities are close by and plentiful. Gulf beaches and other attractions are only minutes away.

We have arranged for a caretaker only a few doors away to be at your disposal 24/7. We will be visiting the property just prior to the season in order to personally insure that all is in order for your arrival. Just come to Florida and enjoy yourself and leave the rest to us!

About The Owner

We were married in 1995 shortly after getting together at our 20-year high school reunion. We live in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State and are waiting for the day that we can retire and spend the winter months in our lovely home in Bradenton.

The Owner purchased this mobile home in 2002
Why The Owner chose Bradenton

We inherited the home after Steve's father passed away in 2001. We love the home and the location so much that we have decided to keep it. We offer it as a vacation rental in order to cover our expenses.

What makes this mobile home unique

We usually spend a couple of weeks at the home each year in early November. This allows us to personally assure that the home is clean and in good order before our guests arrive. While we are there, we enjoy the weather, the beaches, great restaurants and museums. One of the best things about Westwinds Village, where the home is located, are the warm, friendly people. We also enjoy visiting friends and family who live in the area.

Great snowbird retreat!

I stayed in this rental in March of 2010 and found it to be exactly as presented in the photos. The
kitchen was VERY well supplied with every possible pot/pan/utensil you would possibly need.
The beds were comfortable and having a washer and dryer right on the premises was a huge plus.
Having a land line phone was a big help as sometimes my cell didn't work too well unless I stepped outside. The park itself is clean and well maintained including the pool and community place. We were
very close to all kinds of shopping. Check out the back entrance as it is much easier to exit the park
where there is a stop and go light. The owners are very easy to work with.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing
