Kona Comfort house on Big Island

Ther large upstairs of house that we rented was very clean and attractive. Plenty of room for the 4 of us large Kitchen, dining area and master bedroom. The master Bath was very open and airy comfortable and homey,The large spacious yard, was nice to look over and we had a show put on each evening at dust with wild turkeys roosting ijn neighboring tree.We especially enjoyed the very large lanai and had most meals outside as the weather was excellent for our time in January 80-85 everyday. We made use of the supplied beach amenities the laundry room proved very valuable with 4 of us there for 2weeks,The owners were very responsive to a couple of small items that came up and were resolved within the day.There were 2 couples that occupied the apartments downstairs while we were there but this did not pose a problem at all as they were both over 50. All the transactions were done over the net and proved to be very satisfactory as owners were very prompt in returning e-mails and the damage deposit. I have and will continue to recomend the house to frineds that have asked about it. We enjoyed the restaurants in Kialua and many beaches on the Kona side. We also went to Vocano and watched the lava steam into the ocean at night. The Snorkelling at Place of Refuge and also at the Tides pools in Kapoho were well worth the time getting to them.

Owner's Response: We love it when our guests take the time to communicate in notes, letters or review portals so that other potential guests have first hand opinions about their experiences. We also get great motivation from these inputs from so many of our guests -- the vacation rentals for us are not a money making enterprise but an endeavor that is lots of plain old work, that takes lots of our time and involves numerous details to keep the rentals functioning smoothly on a regular basis. When our guests recognize and thank us for all the efforts on their behalf it seems to make it worth it to us and we want to keep up the same standards for those who follow after!
