It is just off the famous West Orange Bike Trail and a mile from Lake Apopka's recreation areas. Easy access to the Florida Turnpike, Orlando Intl. Airport, a variety of Central Florida cities, and the famous beaches of Daytona, New Smyrna and Cocoa. It is close to all the popular attractions such as Disney, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and the Space Coast! Winter Garden is approximately 15 miles west of downtown Orlando, 12 miles east of Clermont, 20 miles north of Disney/Kissimmee area and 25 miles south of Sanford and 15 miles south of Mt. Dora. It is a quaint but modern little piece of 'Mayberry', with very friendly people, arts and antiques, entertainment, mall shopping and country fine dining! The cottage is near the intersection of Dillard Street and Highway 50, West Colonial Drive. Golfing, the beaches and the theme parks are only a stones throw away!

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of one half of the total rental rate is due within 7 days to hold your reservation and will be held in an account until your arrival. A security deposit of $200 will also be due for monthly stays.

    You must cancel one month prior to your arrival date in order to get a full refund, minus a $100.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel within that 30 day period, only one half of the deposit will be refunded.

    For weekend rentals, you must cancel 30 days in advance to get your full deposit refunded, after that there will be no refunds.

    We accept cashier’s checks, personal checks, money orders and credit cards through Pay Pal.

    Check in is at 3:00pm.
    Check out by Noon Please.

My family and I stayed at this cottage in May of 2009. We have 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone! Had plenty of the necessary amenities you would need and the owners live very close to the rental property and they make themselves readily available if necessary. Thanks for sharing your house!

We loved staying at the cottage. Plenty of room for our family as we each felt we had our own space. We will definitely stay there again.

Truly a home away from home!

My family and I stayed here while we were looking to permanent housing to the Orlando area. It is was a very comfortable and peaceful environment. The porches are simply delightful! The gardens make you want to walk around and enjoy the yard. Walking distance to beautiful downtown historic Winter Garden and Lake Apopka. And Oh ya... the bike path. Plenty of shopping and easy access to the turnpike. Close enough to all the major attractions and just over an hour to either coastline. Peaceful and quite place to retreat to after a long day of entertainment. I would highly recommend this home away from home!

The owners live close by and are very accommodating. A very comfortable place to stay at very very reasonable price. We visited in January 2007 not 2006 as shown below.
