Jonathan Island Narragansett, RI - A three acre island to call your very own. The only house on the island. A sun filled contemporary home has 2 bedrooms, one bath, screened lower porch and an upstairs deck. The house has water views out of every window and is totally equipped. There is a dock, kayaks, canoe , rowboat, and more. Nothing like it is on the rental market in Rhode Island. A special place The rental price includes transportation out to the island and back. Additional round trip rides are available anytime for $50. Boat rentals are available (Ocean House Marina 401 364-6040) or bring your own! There is parking on the mainland.

Most Relaxing Getaway!

So glad we came! The home is very clean. The views are beautiful and the landscaped paths lead to areas where you can nap in a hammock or read a book under the trees. We were looking for a place to get away and relax and this was just what we wanted, but there were also some kayaks if you wanted to get on the water. The owners were very welcoming.

A Piece of Paradise

I almost don't want to write this review as then it will encourage more folks to vacation here....and maybe even reserve the time I want. :)

OMG! This island is too good to be true. It is all about "green" and all about nature at it's best. And talk about all the "free food"! Catch your own fluke, and blue crab... dig up your own steamers, Quahogs, etc.

The house is the perfect island home, and lovely. The host and hostess are as nice and accomadating as one could possibly be.

Best vacation spot ever for relaxing, fishing, and enjoying nature!
Recommended for:  Romantic Getaway

Perfect Getaway

We loved our first family vacation. We are a family of 3 and our son was 2.5 when we visited. They provided a crib, toys, a life jacket and there was a swing on the island. Our son had a great time and we enjoyed the quite family time we shared. There is no question that we would return in a heartbeat.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
