'At Redfish' Private Pool! Rooftop Deck, 4,304 sq. Feet!

Great stay. My group consisted of 5 families and 8 kids under the age of 7 and the house was spacious enough for the whole group. An icemaker is always nearby since one serves every level including the rooftop deck, which is exactly one floor higher than the elevator goes. Exit the elevator on the third floor and you'll find the great room, with a kitchen, dining room, and living room. 10 foot ceilings on every floor make the house seem even roomier than it already is. The large pool is convenient for days when 2 minutes to the beach is too far away. I'd guess that the deep end of the pool is 5 and a half feet deep rising to 3 and a half on the shallow end. The roof top deck offers a good view of adjacent Big Redfish Lake along with a token sliver view of the Gulf. On the negative side, we did see a few large cockroaches in the bathroom, and the bathrooms weren't stocked with the advertised 5 towels. However the towel situation along with a plumbing back-up and another problem with the front door were quickly handled after a quick phone call. (These problems were handled on a Sunday, which was impressive) Our bug situation wasn't reported; its Florida and the house is next to a lake, so bugs are expected. It should also be noted that the pool is mosquito central after dark, but the rooftop is a good bug-free alternative. All in all the positives greatly outweigh the negatives and I would definitely recommend this place, especially for large families or large groups.

This is an awesome house! It is so spacious, very close to the beach (about a 3 minute walk), and has a nice pool area. We did experience a few bugs, but the situation improved once the exterminator came to treat the property. Amazing views from the huge rooftop. We hope to return next summer.
