    1/3 of your total reservation fee reserves the property. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
    A credit card on file will satisfy the $500 security deposit (like renting a car).
    Last Minute Discounts are considered.
    We will allow 2 night reservations only at the last minute with a reduced cleaning and laundry fee.
  • Cancellation policy- Reservation deposit minus a $50 handling fee refundable up to 30 days prior to your check-in. Within 30 days we will refund what we can rebook and we are quiet good at that.

We go the extra mile for your enjoyment!: The ocean and bay boardwalks are wonderful for bike riding so we provide beach cruiser bicycles for you... just like the ones you rode as a kid. No fancy gears, just a plain bike with a wide comfortable seat, high handlebars, kickstands, and back-peddle brakes. Included in your rental is the communal gas barbecue, two laundry rooms, and a private garage with a coded door opener and remote control. Relax at the tables and chairs in the grassy courtyard and enjoy a cold beverage after a day of sightseeing. You will find everything you'd expect to have in a home away from home including an alarm clock, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, shampoo, body and hand soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, coffee filters, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, tissue paper, toilet paper, paper towels.... all the basics. If we don't have it, let us know and we'll get it!

Just around the corner!: Henry's Organic Market and Trader Joe's are less than a block away. Restaurants, bars, clubs and shops are plentiful in PB which gives you plenty of activities if you don't want to sit around. Everything you could need for your stay is within a 5 block radius... just park your car and enjoy the best of what San Diego has to offer. The ocean is 5 blocks to the west, with lifeguards, showers and toilets. You can also rent children's bikes with helmets (a California law) just down the street.

Noise in the Area versus Savings:: Located in the heart of Pacific Beach this apartment is in an area popular with young professionals & college crowds. It is not a quiet area in the summer or on school holiday weekends, but depending on what you are looking for, it could be just right. Live bands occasionally fill the evening air & nightclubs are plentiful along Garnet Ave. For most of the time, however, the neighborhood is pretty quiet. White noise machines are provided in each bedroom for light sleepers, as well as double pane windows throughout the property. Prices are kept low because of the occasional noise & the proximity to the beach. If you read our guestbooks, you'll notice that the neighborhood noise doesn't bother most of our guests. Many feel that the savings more than makes up for a little noise & appreciate the fact that they can save money on lodging so it can be spent at places like Sea World & the Zoo. We have other more expensive properties located in quiet, upscale neighborhoods if you prefer.

Other Activities: walking on beach or walking, running or riding bikes on boardwalk.

We stayed at Jason's during our conference visit early in Nov 2007. It was bright and tidy, safe and spacious, quiet at night. A guest book showed us the nearest shops and restaurants. What also great was that we could make our own sandwiches and didn't have to queue in the convention centre.

We have enjoyed our beach ride at dawn, jog at dusk as our holiday part. More importantly, we worked more productively than ever.

It is not only great for vocation but for business travellers as well.

Our rental unit was great!!! Clean, homey and had everything we needed. Made good use of the beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards. A real plus is having your own parking spot. Loved being 4 blocks from the beach, and 1 block from Trader Joe's, restaurants, and found a great used book store. You can't compare this to staying in a hotel.. because we had space for 2 very active boys (7&9)to play. We slept well too, the spill over noise during Easter Break was not a factor.

My family recently returned from our trip to see my son graduate from Marine Corp boot camp in San Diego. Nancy was a dream to work with and the apartment was everything we could have wanted. We were there during the crazy spring break time but the bar noise didn't bother us. The great windows and white noise machines kept the apartment nice and quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked with any thing I needed to use for cooking and the great markets in the area have any type of food you need. If you like Thai food there is a great Thai restaurant around the corner in between the convienience store and tanning salon, I can't remember the name but it was fantastic and authentic.

We very much enjoyed our visit to beautiful San Diego and our stay at 1175 Felspar St (Jessica's apt). The holiday apartment was well presented, equipped (my daughter and husband particularly appreciated the availability of bikes), and the location was just ideal, being so close to the beach and a great variety of shops and restaurants.

Renting an apartment suited so well, as we like to take advantage of the good food ingredients available locally (especially from Trader Joe's) and our son who lives in San Diego was able to join us for some 'home cooking'!

Having wireless access made it easy to book activities such as surfing, diving and whale watching.

Hi Folks,
Just jotting a note to say thank you. Your vacation rental was very clean and homey (smelled good from the moment we walked in), in a good location, and the combination made our family stay very pleasurable. Noise wasn't really a problem, we all slept very well; the sheets in the master bedroom were extremely soft and the pillows were also great. We had plenty of room for 5 adults. And I have to add, though “my kids” are adults, we all enjoyed the large chalkboard in the living room. We felt it was our home. The garage was handy, added incidentals were convenient, as well as the grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Great walk to the beach. Our son ranked Ramones as one of the best fish taco stands! One suggestion: hooks on the backs of the doors for towels and robes, etc. And I'll add doing business with Jeremy was also a pleasant experience. 1173 Felspar, Dec. 27
