The lake is clear with shallow waters and a sandy bottom that makes this an ideal summer vacation spot for families with young children. The new four person hot tub on the lower level along with a poster bed makes this home a favorite of couples year round. A new King Swedish Tempur-Pedic® bed eliminates pressure points allowing for a restful night's sleep. A two-block stroll brings you to restaurants and ice cream shops. A county park with playground equipment is a short walk down the beach. Skiing, golf, and shopping trips are less than an hour's drive. Activities:: Lake Missaukee is great for swimming, boating, and fishing. Lake City has a nice 18 hole public golf course and driving range. Public tennis courts are about three blocks from the home. Shanty Creek provides top rated golf and skiing, with less than an hour's drive. An hour's drive to Traverse City provides excellent shopping and cultural activities.
