Villa Lapaz is only 5 min from shopping, beaches, tennis and the best restaurants on the West coast of Barbados. The sandy lane and Westmoreland Golf courses are just 5 min away. Closest town 3 min away is Holetown. Public transportation is in walking distance. Holetown is the oldest town founded in the 1620's, it is one of the country's most modern cities. 5 min to Holetown beach which has all water sports from skiing to jet ski rentals and glass bottom boat tours. Holetown has great nightlife, fine dining and shopping A popular site few minutes from Lapaz is Folkstone park. A narrow stretch of white sand beach and Caribbean blue water to picnic, surf, swim and snorkel. The park is also known for its own museum with exhibits on fishing and boat building.
