LUXURY LAKE GEORGE RENTAL TOWNHOME. LAKEVIEWS. STEPS FROM MILLION DOLLAR BEACH

The over all experience was wonderful. Exceeded our expectations. Now, for details (I'm always looking for "detailed" reviews, so I'll offer as much as possible). The house was CLEAN, fresh, new looking & was stocked with plenty of supplies. Lush carpeting in the majority of the house. The linen closet had racks of towels. The washer / dryer was located upstairs by the linen closet & bedrooms - excellent!. The kitchen was stocked with ample plates, cups, bowls, pots, pans, and utensils. Appliances all operated correctly. The coffee maker dial was worn preventing us from setting the timer (a VERY minor concern). All other appliances worked correctly & were easily operated. There was a living room, with large flat screen, PLUS a sitting / reading room. These were seperated by a dining room which we actually never used. The kitchen had a table set for 6 (could fit 8), plenty for our needs. Both rooms had couches large enough to sleep on & proved a perfect place to nap. The beds were wonderfully comfy! More then enough closet & dresser space. Tons of floor space in each bedroom. 3 bedrooms on the top floor. The master had a king bed, walk in closet, bathroom that contained a Jacuzzi, double sink / vanity, separate stall shower & toilet. The other 2 upstairs bedrooms: 1 with a queen bed, the other with a pyramid bunk. A full bath is on the top floor as well. Downstairs was a queen bed plus a futon. A full bath was located downstairs as well. Overall, our experience was a 9.8 on a scale of 10. To be picky: the shower heads were like 9 feet up & this little 5 ft. person struggled with chasing the high shower spray. Next, I was expecting the beach to be out the backyard. No. Million-dollar beach is out the front door, turn right at the corner & walk. Aprox. an 8-minute walk. Don't expect a grass yard. The listing doesn't mention a yard, and there is NO yard. Just a paved surface behind the houses where the driveways are. We played yard games on the pavement & had tons of fun! I'm really being picky with my "complaints" because we don't have any REAL complaints. I'm offering as much detail as possible since it's the only reference we can go on when looking for a house. Let me say, this house is great for 1 or 2 families. Easily accommodates 8 to 10 people, 11 or 12 if you have kids. The location is IN the village. Easy access to all tourist sites & attractions. Looking forward to going back again! Go & enjoy your stay, we DID!
