Looking for a great family home-away-from home? This is it! Located on a quiet Punta's hilltop on Rd 413, just two minutes (0.7 miles) from Sandy Beach, Steps, Tres Palmas and local activities. Close enough to enjoy the exciting music & nightlife at the oceanside pubs and restaurants, but then return to the peace & quiet of your own private oasis. This well-equipped and sun-filled home, sleeps 6 comfortably, offers three bedrooms with a/c, ceiling fans and tranquil tropical decor. Facing west and magnificent ocean views is a spacious 30’x 22’ covered patio with plenty of outdoor furniture from which to watch our stunning sunsets and catch the tropical breezes. The patio also faces our new pool. The pool has a wide sunning shelf and a 16 foot bench facing the ocean and Desecheo Island. This island get-away sits by itself on 2000 sq. m. (1/2 acre) of lushly landscaped hilltop, approx. 50 yards above street level, with broad ocean views, private entrance and off-street parking.

Nearest Beach: beach at 0.7 Miles

US citizens do not require a passport or visa! Rincon is the furthest west town on the island of Puerto Rico. Famous for our sunsets, kind people, surfing, whale watching, diving and snorkeling. We are a 30-40 minute drive from Aguadilla airport (BQN) with flights in daily on Continental, Jet Blue, and Delta from Newark, JFK, Atlanta, and Florida. San Juan (SJU) is a 2.5 hour drive away with flights from all over! Our quiet town is a break from the big cities. We have no traffic lights yet, but we're only 20 minutes away from the town of Mayaguez with a Sam's Club, Super K, Chilis, Long Horn Steak House, movie theaters, casinos, winter league baseball games and more! The Arecibo Observatory (James Bond's Golden Eye and Jody Foster's Contact) and the Camuy caves are just a 1.5 hour drive. We aren't New York City! This is a slow down and enjoy the tropical breezes vacation. You can be as busy as you wish or just sit and enjoy this paradise we are happy to share with you!

Notes: Pool measures 10' x 22', has a depth of 3.5' at the shallow end and 6.5' at the deep end. There is a sun shelf on one end of the pool for wading with small children and a 16' bench along one side of the pool facing the ocean. The pool deck is 20' x 12', also facing the ocean. Sunsets are directly in front of the pool during the months of April - June.

We loved our stay at Bello Horizonte this past December. Aleida is a marvelous and attentive host. She shopped ahead for us, so that we arrived with basic provisions, and she met us the morning after our late-night arrival, to ensure that we had all we needed. The house is exactly as pictured. The rooms are spacious and updated. The bathrooms are modern and very clean, with beautiful tile work. The kitchen is very well equipped. The grounds are lovely, and we enjoyed fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice each morning (which we squeezed with the help of the electric juicer provided!). The pool was refreshing and picturesque! If you're thinking "but I want to stay on the beach".....no you don't. The beaches are so varied, that you will love the freedom of staying at Bello Horizonte and driving to your beach of choice each day. I walked to the Domes and Spanish Wall beaches from BH several mornings, watched the surfers and collected buckets-full of seashells and bleached sea urchins. We spent most afternoons first at the Steps beach, snorkeling and sunning, then "in town" at the swimming beach, for more relaxed, calm swimming and beautiful sunsets. I've rented several houses through homeaway, and Bello Horizonte is one of the best ever! Aleida, please feel free to use me as a contactable reference! Linda

Bello Horizonte Rincon, PR This place is AMAZING!

My wife and I loved this place! Our stay at Bello Horizonte was refreshing, private, and convenient. The property is very clean, with nice open indoor/outdoor living areas as well as breath taking views from the pool. Convenient outdoor shower is great after surfing or swimming. The house is a short drive/walk to lots of great food, entertainment spots, and beautiful beaches.

The owners of the property were very kind and generous in helping us with any questions we had about the area and the property. We would, and will recommend Bello Horizonte to our friends and family. This place is amazing!

Had a great time with my granddaughter, only needed more time there, so much to see. The house is beautiful, and equipped with everything you need. My grand daughter also really enjoyed. They are asking when we are going back.

We had complete privacy. The house had a terrace area from which you could see the ocean. The entire place was well kept, clean, and equipped with all the basic necessities and more. The kitchen was no exception, filled with everything we needed from plates to wine bottle openers. Having an extra shower and a bathroom outside was very convenient. The washing/drying machine was also very accommodating.
The backyard garden was lush. It was filled with exotic flowers and fruit trees. The view of the ocean from the pool was spectacular! The Desecheo island was visible from this area. We took the most beautiful pics of the sunrise and sunset. This breathtaking view gave us a complete "island feeling". This along with the garden gave us a peaceful sense that comes from being in nature.
The owner was very kind, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
The place was near a few bakeries and a coffee shop, ideal for breakfast by the pool.
We give this place TWO THUMBS up!!! A definite paradise home. Would LOVE to go back and stay!!

Great family vacaton home with spectacular view of the ocean and Desecheo Island. We had plenty of room for my family and some guests. I loved the lush vegetation on the property and you felt totally secluded. The beaches and restaurants were minutes away, but you sit up on a hill and you can't here any noise as you enjoyed a cup of cafe on the terrace or by the pool. The pool is quite lovely and my famliy used it everyday. The house is pretty well equipped with most things you might need. We will be back to this home when we visit Rincon in the future.
