Outstanding vacation; outstanding owner

My family and I had never rented a vacation property before, so I have to admit we were hesitant. Julie, the owner, answered our initial email promptly and made us feel very comfortable and answered all of our questions (we had many). I corresponded with her a number of times. We paid through PayPal and it was very simple.
The vacation was excellent, and the home was exactly as described (even better!). It's in a gated community so we felt safe. The kids had a great time. Disney is not very far away, and we made use of the nearby Walmart and Publix (within about 2 miles). The pool and gameroom were a lot of fun.
The owners have done a great job on the decoration and cleanliness of the home. The management company was accessible when we needed them; once when a battery was bad in the smoke detector (they replaced it immediately), and once when there were some bees building a nest on the garage. Leaving was easy at 6 in the morning because of our early flight. All we had to do was to leave the key in the lockbox. Sorry we had to go. Would like to book it again in the future.
Owner's Response: What a great experience this rental was for us. It just goes to show that by communicating effectively albeit by email, how it can result in relationships being created to ensure that both renters and owners can enjoy a stress free rental experience.
With James and his family, I aimed to help them with any questions they had as myself and family have been renters of property prior to owning a villa ourselves and we understand how important it is to feel comfortable that the property that you are renting is in the right location and is of the desired standard. I believe that it helps renters to put their minds at rest if they feel that they can communicate with us the owners or our management company to gain as much information on the property, location, standard, subdivision etc. to ensure that the description is truthful. Especially if this is a first visit. Let's be honest it is quite scary passing money over to a faceless person you will never meet for the renters, and also for the property owners too so the easier you can make it the better all round.
We welcome people into "our home" and hope that our guests feel at home when they stay. We use our home regularly ourselves and each time we visit we conduct any jobs required to keep our home in a lovely condition.
James and his family treated our home as their own and left it in a lovely condition, first class "renters" and we look forward to welcoming them back in the future.
