Perched over the Town of Jackson, NH, this remarkable 19th Century Victorian Castle was built in 1891 for General Wentworth and his wife. The castle was designed to be reminiscent of an English manor house complete with two conical turrets. While made completely of stone on the outside with walls several feet thick, the inside of the Castle is a quintessential example of the very best of Victorian design and workmanship. Located directly across the street from the Wildcat River and Jackson Falls, the Castle sits largely hidden among almost two private acres. With mountain views, and just a stroll down the hill to the center of Jackson, the entire setting seems like a 'Currier & Ives' painting come to life. An amazing site for your special occasion or event, a stay in the Castle will be remembered forever.

Jackson, NH is well known for its pristine setting, and is the site for many weddings each year. With unlimited outdoor activities available year round, and breathtaking views, it is the perfect setting to share with friends and family.

Everything we could have expected!!

I recently stayed here with my family and friends (a total of 10) over New Years. This Castle was in one word "Amazing!" The Kitchen was very functional, the master bedrooms were huge, the beds were extremely comfortable and sleeping was not a problem because this place is built so well that you could hardly hear people that were up and about in the morning when you were not. It is worth every penny and we can't wait to visit in the summer to see the beautiful grounds and gardens.
