Trolley stop around the corner whisks you to Ogunquit center (8/10 mile) where you will find numerous restaurants and shops to explore. Perkins Cove and Marginal Way are easily accessible via the trolley. Ogunquit playhouse is less than 2 miles away.

Notes: This Cottage is very near the Beachfire Grille restaurant, and others - and of course there are plenty of other dining options in town. However, it is also fully equipped, should you decide to visit Beach Plum Lobster Pound (just around the corner), pick up a few Lobsters, and pull out the lobster pot!

My wife and I stayed from mid-September to Thanksgiving. The weather was glorious through early November and the beach was never crowded. Bob, the neighbor who runs the B and B next door was friendly and helpful. The nature preserve is a beautiful way to walk to the beach, the cormorants and cranes and sandpipers are always around the little Ogunquit river and on the beach. The lobster pound across the post road had friendly people and great prices for delicious lobsters and clams. The house is snug and pleasant and well-appointed. Wi-Fi worked fine. Cell phone reception a little spotty in the house, but fine on the street, which I kind of liked. Good grocery store and P.O. quite close. Descriptions were all accurate, owners were most helpful, the famous walk along Marginal Way was delightful but so was the daily walk on the very closest beach. Mt. Agamenticus is a great nearby outing, also Portland. Kayaks and bicycles for rent nearby. Best affordable restaurant : Pepperland Cafe in South Berwick.

We truly enjoyed the nights we spent in this adorable cottage. We did not want to leave. It is in a great location, right near the beach. I would not stay anywhere else in Ogunquit. Thank you to the owners.
