Our stay here was wonderful. We had our boys ages 18 and 15, as well as a friend of our oldest son. When we arrived, there were snacks and biscuits in the fridge. The boys quickly devoured the biscuits. They really enjoyed the creek in the back. The interior of the home is tastefully decorated. There are books and games, A little bit of washing powder, coffee, and soap to help out a little. Certainly thankful for that. Townsend is a small town. Friendly. Convenient to Pigeon Forge and Cades Cove. Lots of places to sit back and relax. My favorite thing to do was sit in the rocker on the front porch. We packed a lot of kitchen supplies just in case, but it was not necessary. There are a couple of stores within a short walking distance if you should need anything. There is a journal in the living room area that has some good tips and ideas about the area. It is on the main road, but the town is very quiet at night. Our oldest son and his friend visited Cades Cove quite a bit. Beautiful place to visit as it seems untouched. I would definately recommend. They have done a lot of work to the home. It felt like staying at grandma's house. Nostalgic.
