Description of the Arcata vacation cottage rental

This craftsman-inspired cottage is in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to Stewart Park, a ten minute walk to Arcata's Plaza and to Humboldt State University. The cottage interior is comfortable and well appointed, with open floorplan living, dining, and kitchen areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with range, microwave, and refrigerator. The bath features a tub shower combination. The living room sofa makes into a bed which can sleep two additional guests. A DVD library, selection of books, and wireless Internet are additional amenities. Beautiful maple floors, hand woven carpets, chocolate leather sofa and chair, and historic redwoods photography add warm ambiance to the main living area. PARKSIDE COTTAGE has a separate bedroom with a large walk-in closet, and a queen sized bed featuring an ultra-plush pillow top mattress, down pillows, and fine linens. Paintings by the owner, an accomplished artist, enhance the bedroom decor.
