Superb & exclusive luxury air-conditioned home with heated pool, in a quiet sub-division, on serene lake & steps from secluded sandy beach & sea;consisting of 3 double bedrooms with quality beds & built-in closets; master bath with shower + 1 full bathroom w/tub; new European-style kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave; laundry room w/washer & dryer; kitchen bar/counter opens to large dining area with sliding glass doors to patio & pool; extending dining table & 8 chairs; leading to large living-room with double sleeper sofa, coffee table, reading chair & ottoman, Cable TV, Wireless broadband. Floors are tiled throughout. Large private screened-in patio & pool area has BBQ, comfortable patio furniture & chaises, surrounded by stunning royal palms & patio plants. Dbl garage, plenty of pool & beach toys, 5 bicycles; pull-cart to take to beach. Short walk to Wild Life Nature Refuge. This home is for someone wanting something above the average-very special!

Secluded Beach: Our property is 7-8 minutes walk from the most beautiful and somewhat secluded beach. That particular stretch of coast has large private homes and only a couple of small resort / cottage rentals, making it less populated. In season you will witness Sea Turtles digging nests and this will be marked with yellow bands, so as not to disturb the nests under the sand.

The shelling is fantastic on this stretch of beach.

About P Ault

We are the Aults - Aric, Pia, Aidan and Hunter, plus Aric's dad Tom. Aric is originally from Chicago and Pia is from Copenhagen Denmark. Our boys are attending Arizona State University and we live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sundance is our home, but while we reside overseas we rent it out to responsible likeminded people who will help us care for it like it was their own.

Aric's family has been coming to Sanibel for years. We bought this home because of its simple yet warm and quiet calm. It is our paradise and we don't get to come home often enough, but when we do, it's hard to leave! The island is such a stress buster and offers a close scenic view into the magnificent wild life.

What makes this house unique

The views as you sit in the living room, dining room or outside are phenomenal. A glass surface like lake with birds, turtles and an occasional curious alligator. You just cannot beat the serene surroundings.

Our home is located on the Gulf side (south-west) of the island. Sanibel is one of the unique barrier islands of the world, having an east-west orientation when most islands are north south. So the island is gifted with great sandy beaches and the world's best shelling. At the south-east end of the island is the Lighthouse Beach & Fishing Pier. This is the site of a historic functioning lighthouse. Located on the eastern tip of Sanibel, wrapping around to the bay side; this is where the T-dock-fishing pier is and a boardwalk nature trail winding through native wetlands. From our home, you are minutes away from a 57-acre nature wildlife refuge with Bald Eagles, Ospreys and 100's of other bird species and animals. Just a few miles from the house (5 min by car or 15-20 min. on bicycle) is the quaint town with many unique shops and fabulous restaurants featuring fresh cuisine of all kinds. There is truly something here for the entire family.

Our stay in this home was exceptional. The house is within walking distance to the beach. We have been to Sanibel about 10 times and this was the best yet.The propert was well maintained,clean and very spacious. The house is updated and clean. The surrounding area is very quiet and residential. It was easy access to Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Perfect Private Island Retreat

We enjoyed this lovely home in a quiet neighborhood.The private views from the enclosed patio & well maintained pool area were fantastic.The island birds were beautiful & the landscaping provided privacy but an enjoyable view. The home is well kept & the description is %100 accurate.The beach is very close & all beach necessities were provided. Bike trails were nearby & the shelling was great. Enjoyed the local restaurants within short driving distance. We have stayed in condos on the island before & would never do that again. We loved this quiet part of the island. The owner was great to work with & also the nearby propery manager for any concerns or questions. It was a great two vacation. Highly recommend it for all seasons.

A great vacation home with top-notch furnishings and equipped with all the extras to ensure a warm and welcoming environment. Our family has stayed in over 6 different rental homes over the years and this is by far the best rental home experience.

Why stay in a cramped hotel room or condo when you can stretch out in luxury and enjoy all that beautiful Sanibel Island has to offer? This home is close to everything (beach, shops, nature parks, bike trails, Captiva, etc.) Sanibel Island is a wonderful place to bring your family and this home accentuates the positive experience. We can't wait to return again one day.
