BEAUTIFUL, SPACIOUS 2 BEDROOM, GREENSPRINGS VACATION RESORT IN WILLIAMSBURG, VA

Our family of six loved having a condo to spread out in for a week. The location is conveniently close to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown and not too far from Yorktown.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. We used it a lot.

The condo was very quiet. We never heard the neighbors.

The entire complex felt very secure. The grounds were attractive. Their maintenance was responsive (we had a couple minor issues.)

The only negatives were a really uncomfortable sofabed (we bought a foam pad to help) and the time share sales calls after we got back home. The decor was a bit out of date too, but that wasn't a big deal to us.

We definitely got our money's worth.

Our condo was very large and comfortable and, best of all, spotlessly clean! The kitchen was spacious and we loved the coffee maker that dispenses right into your coffee cup. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. Our 10 year old granddaughter loved the pools. The deepest part of both the indoor and outdoor pools is 5 ft. so no diving, which may be a drawback for some kids and teenagers. There were plenty of lounge chairs available by the pool whenever we went, which was every day of our 4 day stay. The master bath in the condo had a huge jacuzzi tub, but the shower was a bit on the small side. The second bathroom did have a steam shower though.
We were only about 2 miles away from the heart of Williamsburg and an easy drive to Busch Gardens and Water Country. I verified before I booked that we were not obligated to listen to a timeshare sales pitch. We were offered to do that twice while we were there. I said "No thanks" and I wasn't pressured at all to change my mind.
Overall, an excellent property!

Place was as described on HomeAway.com. Rental was handled by Josh at resort rentals international and was done easily and expeditiously. Check in and Check out were quick. Condo was spacious and clean. Although we were only 2 couples over 50, lots of supplies to handle 6 people. Although not used by writer of review, I am told by others in our group that pool, exercise room and spa were all in good condition. For golfers, renting a timeshare gets you significant savings at a number of area golf courses. Greensprings is within 15 to 20 minutes of Colonial Williamsburg and merchants square, and Jamestown and Yorktown are easy to get to. For those who want a golf vacation, a sightseeing vacation or a combination of both Greensprings Resort is a great place to stay.
