Located right outside the lovely, historic Chester village. Short drive to: Okemo, Magic Mountain, Bromley, Ascutney. Stretton and Killington Skyeship 45 minutes drive. Many other activities are available: snowmobiling, snowshoeing, 'antiquing',

Please NO sororities, fraternities, or unchaperoned groups under the age of 25 (no exceptions). Should a group misrepresent themselves, they will be required to vacate premises immediately, without refund.

PLease DO NOT plan large parties.

A $500 to $1,000 DAMAGE DEPOSIT will be collected on each rental. These deposit is held until the house has cleaned and inspected.

Notes: House layout: First floor: large eat in Kitchen. Kitchen has 6 burner stove with 2 ovens. Dining room: 2 tables seat 16 easily. Two bedrooms with double beds. One full Bath with tub. Second floor: 5 bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom has an extra twin bed. Ceiling fans in each bedroom. Three full baths. Two bathrooms have 5'6' bathtubs. Third floor: 2 bedrooms. One full bath. There is a stone patio outside the kitchen to the barbeque. On top of the hill right next to the house there is a beautiful area for picnics or playing and hanging out. The backyard is completely fenced-in.

Great House for Large Group

We rented the 1860 Farmhouse for a weekend to accomodate family for our daughter's wedding in August. Everyone was very impressed and the Farmhouse became the place for visiting--Great family reunion. The rooms and atmosphere very relaxing--We were very close to all the activities taking place for the wedding--Great Location.
Everyone had a fabulous time and we are thinking of renting the Farmhouse again for skiing or just being together as a family--to hike ,explore the area etc.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!

We rented this house this past december and had amazing experience. We are a group that gets together every winter and goes up to VT for a week. This is our fifth year and we always try to find a good deal, but this time i think we found the perfect house and a great deal. The house is very spacious and very worm with lots of windows. There is pretty much everything you need at the house from shovels to slippers, from pots and pans to clean sheets and towels.
The landlord was very kind and helpful and made our stay very easy and simple. I have had some really bad experiences in the past. The location of the house is perfect right in the heart of Chester with a beautiful restaurant right next door that also has a bar and game room. I think we have found our match and we are planning to do it again this year and the years to come! Excellent!!!!!

Best Vermont Vacation Rental

This is the best rental house I've found in Vermont and will definitely be booking again next year. The house was very clean, spacious and perfectly designed for large groups. We couldn't have been more excited to find large rooms that actually had great beds! We also enjoyed the great fireplace and big TV in the family room every night. The country feel of the house made for a nice escape from city life. We rented the property during ski season and were very happy with its close proximity to several major resorts. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience.

A great escape..

If you want to get away and relax in Vermont this property is the place. We had a wonderful experience staying here. The farmhouse is old and beautiful, very spacious with an updated European contemporary feel inside. The property is scenic and private with everything you need just down the road in Chester (wine, cafe, great food). You will definitely want to take your camera! The location is also close to upscale shopping in Manchester or great skiing at Okemo mountain. The owner is very thoughtful and easy to work with. We simply can't wait to go back.
