Continue hiking and enjoy the beauty of the lake, the park and granite ledges as you go along. Bring your pets and give them a chance to enjoy some fresh air and exercise as well. While the home features all the amenities you would want, it also has many rustic New England features including a fieldstone fireplace, and furnished three season room looking out to a peaceful, unspoiled sylvan setting. What's even better is this hideaway accommodates a family of eight and is just one mile to the village of North Conway.... close to the quaint shops and fantastic restaurants.

Like winter sports? Then you will love our home in the heart of Mt. Washington Valley. Step right outside our door, and begin enjoying cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating and ice fishing. Drive five minutes away and enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides at 'The Farm by the River' Inn, or skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing at Cranmore Mt in North Conway. Drive 20 minutes and ski at Attitash, Bear Mt., Wildcat, Black Mt or King Pine. Just a bit further and enjoy Loon Mt, Bretton Woods Ski area, Shawnee Mt., and Sunday River Ski Area.

Notes: We equipped the house with as many amenities as we could think of so if you think you might need something, it's probably there. Of course there are plenty of linens, towels, blankets and pillows so leave yours at home. Also lots of board games, kids toys, magazines, periodicals, books, DVD and VCR movies, internet access, PC computer to keep the kids and adults entertained. Firewood available.... just be careful, please!

This was my second stay at this home. It is a very warm and inviting home. Very clean. Location is great for day tripping. .

Great Home for the whole family!

We we're looking for a vacation home that could accommodate my husband and myself, and our two college age daughters. We wanted a place to relax, shop and dine out. They wanted to strictly power shop. This home was perfect. It is literally 5 minutes from North Conway. There is plenty to do in this town, from theaters, specialty shops, and attractions. The mountain views are also amazing. You will enjoy the screen room, nicely furnished. A great place to unwind at the end of the day, enjoy some wine and listen to the sounds at night. The Big Screen TV was perfect to catch some Red Sox games on rainy days.The home is nicely laid out to allow everyone space yet still be enjoying each other on vacation. The Echo Lake Beach would be terrific for younger kids, and it's walking distance from the home! The home was clean, well organized and you'll be pleased.

Excellent Vacation Home

This is a great place to stay in the North Conway area. It is so close to everything from Restaurants,shopping, skiing, all within a 5-10 minute drive. The Home was the perfect place to stay for Thanksgiving or any other time for that matter. It had a well stocked good size kitchen, big dining table with room for six, the livingroom had plenty of room to sit, plus a huge flat screen TV and a nice fireplace, nice size bedrooms on main floor, and the downstairs has a private bedroom and a playroom area, perfect for guest who want some privacy. Like I said it is close to everything but in a nice neighborhood, with a yard and a walking trail to the lake. The owners were great, they have you call when you arrive so if you have any questions they can answer them. The Home was very clean, well stocked with towels, extra blankets. All in all I think this is a great place to stay in North Conway.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
