This luxury penthouse apartment is situated within Fairways, a quiet and secure development close to the sea with beautiful landscaped gardens, large swimming pool, with its own island bar, children's pool and children's playground. Close by are several restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The apartment boasts large south facing balcony with a built in BBQ, and large private rooftop terrace with breathtaking 360 degree views including the ocean and Mount Teide. Sleeps up to 6 people, with two bedrooms, one double, one twin, two bathrooms and a small, double sofa bed. Included : towels and linen, fridge-freezer, hob, oven, washing machine, microwave, satellite TV, DVD, stereo system, ceiling fan, ironing board/iron. Golf is a feature of the resort, being located within the beautiful Amarilla golf course. Fairways is a beautiful, quiet family complex beside the sea. There are restaurants, bars, supermarkets, car hire, and excursion booking available in easy walking distance. The main highway TF1 junction is nearby allowing easy access to the rest of the island. There are three neighbouring golf courses Amarilla golf Club, Golf del Sur and Las Americas, all championship courses. The livelier resorts of Los Christianos and Las Americas are a 10 minute car ride away. Ten minutes in the other direction brings you to Los Abrigos, a fishing village with its well known fish restaurants. At the new Marina, a 10 minute walk, relax and watch the boats come and go or for the more adventurous book a submarine safari or go whale watching. Of course there is now the new water park, SIAM PARK, a wonderful day out, only 15-20mins drive.

Tenerife is a perfect destination for any traveller seeking a relaxing or energetic holiday. Being a tropical island and located about 100 miles off the west coast of Africa, it enjoys year around sunshine and even in summer the temperatures are rarely unbearable with the prevailing trade winds. The average winter temperature is 23 degrees. The size of the Island makes it feasible to sightsee in the north in the morning and sunbathe in the south in the afternoon. Although almost everyone speaks English in the coastal resorts of Las Americas, Puerto de la Cruz in the northwest positively oozes Spanish colonial character.

Golf: The Amarilla Golf and Country Club course has 2 'feature' par 3 holes, with the out of bounds being the ocean. Top names are frequent players here, however, many 'social' golfers use and enjoy the facilities also. The clubhouse is within easy walking distance and the 9th hole bar, located close to the apartment, is a great stop off on a warm day's round. Facilities include club rental, cart rental, golf car hire, golf teacher, a-la-carte clubhouse restaurant and bar. Three other courses are within short driving distance.

Excellent Apartment. Perfect Location.

This was our 4th stay in this apartment each time for 4 weeks. Speaks for itself !!
Why do we return.
The apartment is clean, well presented and has everything you need for your self catering holiday.
Very private and peaceful location.
Only 2 minutes walk to the pool, lots of sunbeds.
The balconies are very spacious and private. We use the roof terrace every day a perfect place to relax. In the evening the balcony outside the lounge is lovely to enjoy a drink or meal.
Every aspect of the complex is very well looked after, it is spotless and all the staff are helpful and polite.
The local supermarket just outside the gated complex is excellent, you can get all you need from them. We even get a discount as we do all our shopping there.They are friendly and helpful.
The Palms resturant within the complex is very good and great value. The poolside bar is good for snacks and drinks in the day. A friendly bar called Premier also serves food. Lots of other eating places within a 10 minute walk or try San Blas about 25 minutes. You will find lots of entertainment on offer at various venues between Fairways and San Blas.
This apartment is a lovely place to stay and we think has the best position on the complex. We will be back again.

Wonderful apartment for relaxing!

We have just returned from a most enjoyable stay at number 621. The apt is so bright and airy and spacious and you can enjoy a lovely breeze flowing through the window and French doors from the double room. Location is perfect - a stroll away from the pool yet extremely quiet and peaceful. The 360 degree views from the top terrace are fab whilst the garden views from the balcony are pretty also. Having 2 bathrooms was also a plus for us, as were the books provided. Although we don't watch TV abroad usually, we were pleased we were able to catch Xfactor on the TV whilst enjoying a lovely BBQ! We would recommend this apt for anyone who wants to have a good standard of apt, in a peaceful location, not too far away from the pool and facilities.

My partner and our 2 children went to Heathers apartment at the begining of September and had the most wonderful time. There were a few children there even though it was the end of the summer holidays so my two had someone to play with, but at the same time it was peaceful by the pool and we felt so relaxed. My partner fell in love with the place almost instantly (even suggesting we go back again before we had even unpacked)! The apartment was perfect and we spent alot of time in the evenings on the balcony enjoying a BBQ. The local restaurants were great (although two were closed and due to re-open soon). We were so near shops and the beach either walking distance or a few minutes in a taxi depending on which place we wished to visit. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. We met some lovely couples with their children with whom we have stayed intouch. When we returned home we were both so miserable to be back in our normal everyday lives that i got straight on the lap top and booked some more flights!! Unfortunately Heathers apartment is booked up for when we are going just after christmas but we have managed to get another apartment on the same complex. Can't wait. Thank you Heather, we had a great time. x

Great apartment, pleasant & peaceful complex

We booked this apartment for a late summer family holiday. All the details within the description were spot on, leaving absolutely no disappointment when we arrived. Contact with and instructions from the owner were perfect, everything was clear and concise which left no room for confusion. Fairways is close enough to the main resort towns to make them accessable, but also far enough away to give you space and comfort.
The apartment was clean, well equipped and we would certainly consider booking again next time we visit our friends in Tenerife.

Our kids loved Jenny, the entertainment girl who kept them occupied with pool games & volleyball, skittles and colouring / drawing. Access to the internet was an advantage as we had to organise an exhibition stand at the NEC whilst we were away, not ideal when the sun is shining, but computer access made it possible.

The shop around the corner (opposite reception) was very well stocked for those items we missed at the Mercadona just up the road, and call us British, but it was nice to get a great roast dinner within the complex on Sunday.

The new Siam Park water park had opened a couple of weeks before we arrived, quite expensive but probably well worth the money for a days entertainment, word of warning though, there's not much for smaller children to go on, our 6 y.o. was probably a good 12-18 months from being tall enough for most rides but our 9 y.o. was able to go on everything except the Tower of Power with its 28 metre near vertical drop, Dad enjoyed it though.

All in all a fantastic holiday was had by all the family and we returned feeling relaxed and very, very tanned!!

An excellent appartment in a great complex!

I can honestly say this complex and appartment has something for everyone! the appartment is equipped with everything you need and I must say on arrival it was a pleasant suprise as the pictures just do not do it justice.
On the complex there is something for all ages: a pool with activities for everyone, games and activities. The local bars are very friendly and offer lots of entertainment, some of the singers we watched perform could of been the real artists! If you take a short walk to the marnia there is water sports and a submerine ride (definatly something to do with children). There is also many fantastic resturants, the fish is so fresh and the portion sizes were value for money! If you just want to relax and spend time with your loved one the appartment has its own barbque area with this neat funnel above it that makes the smoke go over all of the appartments, and the afternoon and evening sun on this balcony is relaxing in its self! If you want to sun bath privatly the appartment has its own roof terrace which gets the sun throughout the day and is so peaceful. I really can only say check this appartment and complex out yourself, I am sure you will not be disappointed. I went this time with my husband but I will be booking next year to take my best mate and my two god children aged 3 and 6.

Hope you have a great time and if you find out any great places put it on the website so I can check them out next year!
