Good sized kitchen for quick fixes or major culinary endeavors. Both casual kitchen bar dining or more formal dining table available. Lots of windows for viewing surrounding lake and woods areas. Large laundry room with space for storing sporting goods. Master bedroom on upper floor; additional bedrooms on lower level. One full bath on each floor. Sun porch has good sized game table. TV and DVD in comfy living room open to kitchen and dining room. Local phone service.
Shopping, Marketing & Restaurants: Lots of unique shops in Boyne City, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Charlevoix: Boutique Shops, Gifts, crafts, home goods, clothing, gourmet food products, sporting goods, sports rental and purchase. Many good farmer's markets located in each community. Good grocery stores, both local and large chains. Restaurants galore with something for everyone. Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and K-Mart within 20 minutes door-to-door. 15 minute drive to local fast food and deli's. Large selection of medical, dental, hospitalization services locally available. Movie theaters in Petoskey & Charlevoix
Extras: Extensive well defined and paved bike and walking paths through the woods and over the bridges along highway US 31. Major airports at Traverse City (75 minutes) or Pellston (35 minutes) Easy drive to adjoining towns for local artists, scenic views, charming walk-about shopping and locally owned restaurants.
