This home is located just 2 miles onto the island for easy mainland access. Numerous restaurants are nearby and a few are within walking distance. Our beaches are never crowded as our street is short and there is no bay side housing. Jog or bike on nearby quiet street. There are numerous places to shop, rent boats, bikes, and surf fishing is allowed year round. There are several golf courses within an hours drive. Atlantic City is 45 minutes away. There are also children's activities and water slides on the island. There is a church nearby that houses an indoor and outdoor pool that may be used for a nominal fee per day in case of inclement weather. Also close by are bay beaches with mild surf for young children.

This home is just steps to the guarded beach. Easy access back and forth to home. Ample off street parking for two vehicles per unit as well as street side parking. This home offers a side yard with decking for outdoor grilling any time of day.

weekend packages:: We will consider off season long weekend rentals for mature people who would like to get away for the weekend. Please note we cannot offer this during prime season. Golf enthusiasts should consider our home for a group of golfers as there are several courses a short driving distance away.

WEDDING WEEKEND RENTAL

We rented this house for the weekend of my son's wedding on LBI and couldn't have chosen better. The owner was very easy to deal with - always prompt in replying and getting info to us. Initially thought we'd need to take our dog, which the owner was willing to allow, but ended up leaving him at home. The house was clean and well-stocked re: amenities and appliances. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a weekend or weeklong place to stay.

My family stayed here the week before my wedding and it was great. The house is very clean and spacious. Very short walk to the beach ! Pet friendly so we could enjoy our vacation even more. Owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this house to everyone!

The house was a typical beach house. A/C worked fine although return air vent filter could have been cleaner. Dryer did not work well--only dried about 2-3 tee shirts at a time, max, due to outside vent line being so clogged.

I agree with previous reviewer that carpets should be replaced by tile or wood flooring. We didn't particularly notice any odors, but it would be more sanitary if the floors were a hard surface.

All in all, the house was comfortable, well laid out and very close to the beach making it perfect for our extended family which included our daughter and son-in-law as well as our 2 yr. old granddaughter and 6 wk. old grandson. It made the frequent trips back and forth for naps, lunches, snacks and drinks easy. We had great weather and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves sharing it with our daughter and her family and our upstairs tenants. The location was great. Very central to restaurants and other things to do on the island.

Thankfully we were there after Labor Day so no one was checking beach tags, because there was only 1 tag left at the house (the other 3 initially provided at the start of the season were missing).

The owner was extremely easy to work with and was always quick to respond to e-mails and she is open to suggestions and recommendations about the property.

We really enjoyed our week in LBI. It was our first time staying on the Island and we loved the area. We were lucky and got a great beach week. Our border collie Jake had a great time too. The house is just a few steps to the beach,we came back and forth all day. Just on the corner along the beach is Ocean Ave which everyone walks, bikes, runs.

We were on the bottom floor and were very comfortable. A/C worked great. It is a typical beach house, nothing fancy. The cleaniness could have been better.The only negative was the first floor had carpeting which kind of smelled due to the fact that dogs are allowed. We went out and bought carpet and air freshners which helped. I would suggest the owner replace carpeting with wood or tile to alleviate this problem.

All in all we would come back to this house again, we loved the location!
