The condo was great! We had a fantastic time this weekend, and look forward to doing it again next year!
Beautiful weather, excellent accommodations, fishing and bike paths galore at the resort and scenic hiking and bikeways all around. Thanks so much: we will be back!
This rental was very clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. All appliances worked great, including the hot tub. The owners were quick to reply to questions. We would definitely plan another stay here.
This is a wonderful condo with plenty of room for the family, well-stocked kitchen & bathrooms, and great views from the kitchen and patio windows. We loved the surrounding trails, the nearby work-out room, and the hot tub. Thank you so much Jenny, and hope to enjoy your condo again this spring!
We had a fabulous stay over Memorial weekend! The condo was ready upon our arrival and was fully stocked with everything we needed for our family of 4. We could have easily had four more guests and been comfortable in the townhouse. It had a beautiful view and was a great location with easy access to all the amenities in the Eagle Crest Resort. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and always responded promptly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone traveling to the area.
We had a wonder stay! The condo was beautiful and clean! It has a nice open floor plan! Masterbed was very comfortable. Home had everything needed and info for any questions we had! Owner made contact day after our trip to make sure we were satisfied with their home!
We`ve stayed at Eagle Crest multiple times & always stayed in the Creekside area for 2 weeks. We know what to expect from these popular units & have never had any issues w/ any of the units until now. This was our first stay in Jenny`s unit & it is beautiful; however, it appears that some of the normal wear & tear on a busy rental unit is starting to show through. Some of the issues we encountered upon arrival & through our stay included :
- The washing machine flooded - twice
Jenny sent someone to look at it the first time - his answer was to only run small loads of laundry. We did that & it flooded again. The second time, she sent Router Rooter. They could not find anything wrong & felt that it was an issue w/ actual washing machine. There was no further flooding on our visit, so we were satisfied.
- 7 light bulbs burnt out downstairs
The housekeeper was sent & replaced what she could but she didn`t have all the bulbs & had to return at a later date. In the end, there was still one bulb burnt out when we vacated.
- Hot tub was dirty (apparently, debris from the roof had slipped into the tub)
The EC technician cleaned it upon request on his second visit.
- Spiders, spiders, spiders! We killed at least a few each & every day, inside the unit.
- The ice maker on the fridge was jammed. My husband cleaned it out & it worked until the last few days of our visit & was plugged again.
- There was no Saran Wrap or Tin Foil - we bought some & left it in the unit for the next guests.
- The laundry (towels) from the previous tenant was left unfolded in the dryer.
- Internet was intermittent on the last few days - may have been from the thunderstorm
There were good things too!
- Location to pool - Perfect if you've forgotten something at the house & need to return.
- Pond is nice to walk around & you can hear the bullfrogs at night. We set up a badminton set.
- Weather is generally unbeatable
- Nice to have the two bikes, various puzzles & children's games available
Jenny was very nice to deal w/ & I understand that some things 'just' happen. We had a wonderful visit otherwise & will return to Eagle Crest next year. My recommendation for Jenny would be to have an overall maintenance done prior to summer vacationers' arrival to ensure that everything is in good working order & not worn out. i.e.: screen doors, towels etc.
