Cottage, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 7-9)

Oceanfront haven is located on 2.5 acres of beautiful beachfront on the Northumberland straight. The cottage has its own access to a sandy beach. Beach walks, shallow swimming in warm water, and kayaking are in the backyard. Home to some of the most beautiful views in the Souris area.

Beautiful sunsets and exceptional star gazing from the back deck which overlooks the ocean. Beautiful views from all of the rooms in the cottage including the master bedroom. Beautiful open concept living and dining space with all the amenities.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and maintained. Lots of space for children or adults to play on the large lawns surrounding the cottage.

Why The Owner chose Souris

Our family of 5 rented this cottage aproximately 11 years ago and fell in love. We bought it a year later. It is in a magnificent part of eastern PEI with incredible views of the ocean and surrounding countryside. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean.

Even as our children have grown they continue to come every summer to this beautiful family refuge. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this cottage unique

This property offers remarkable and quite private ocean access, beautiful sunsets, and star gazing, and shallow water swimming. Watching the changing tides from our deck is an activity unto itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at this beautiful 'beach house'. The homeowners have put much thought and attention to detail to the decor and kept it very bright and comfortable as well as a bit whimisical. We had several friends and family join us throughout our stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house has every convenience of home in a fantastic natural setting. We love to cook and prepared most of our own meals in the very well equipped kitchen-it now has a lobster pot. We also enjoyed just relaxing and reading on the deck as we watched the tides. The sound of the surf lulled us to sleep each night. For golf lovers there are many challenging courses nearby. Thank you for sharing this little piece of PEI with us.

A perfect spot for a family vacation. We traveled there with our 2 year old son and the cottage is beautiful, both in location and how it is well maintained. The beach is wonderful, as is the yard; and it is a great place to venture to many great things in the east end of the island. A wonderful place to get away and relax.

Beautiful!

This was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We truly enjoyed the whole week. The pictures do not do the home justice. The home is very roomy and comfortable. The only thing missing was a large pot in which to cook the local lobster. We would love to stay here again or would definitely recommend it to others.

Wonderful stay

We arrived quite late and it was pitch black so we really had no idea where we were. All we could hear was the ocean. Upon entering the cottage we were really pleased by the spaciousness, comfort, and decor. The best was yet to come though, as we woke up to a magnificent beach view of green grass, red sand, blue ocean and sky. You just don't get this very often and it was really special. Access to the beach is easy and you can go for long walks any time of day. It is quite private. Our family of 4 (two teens) enjoyed everything about our stay - we just wish it could have been longer. This well equipped and beautifully situated cottage is a gem. Thanks so much for allowing us to use it.

We came with our children in 2 groups, lots of small ones!! Thisproperty was excellent. Esp[ecially fine was the very large common spaces, living rooim, dining and kitchen, all open-plan. So everyone had a bedroom but then we could congregate and break into comfortable groups in the common areas.

The best part, to me, ws the beautiful deck. I could sit all day and watch the tide come in and go out. So very peaceful. There are lots of parks nearby for the younger ones who want more activity. WE could sit at night with a drink and watch the moon move through its phases, we had 2 weeks there.

I think that PEI might be paradise and this property is a dream. Directly on the waterfront but across a grass yard. It made watching the children easier and they always asked before taking off for the water.

A beautiful place and I believe, though we have never met, that the joy and beauty reflects the owners. Thank you.
