We've been home less than 24 hours from our stay at Coqui's Hideaway and it was much more than we expected. Ray and Gwen not only met us and gave us a tour, but they had even hung a graduation banner in honor of our daughter (this was a graduation trip), an unexpected and incredibly thoughtful touch. The DVD collection is so insanely large that the two teenage girls spent the first 24 hours parked in front of the TV! The tour, the rooms, and of course, the views are breath taking. But what really set this stay apart for us were the TWO huge and extremely detailed binders of where to go, what to do, and what to see. Since my family likes to travel in the opposite direction of large tourist groups, these two books became our PR bible! Make sure you follow Ray and Gwen's directions to the "secret waterfall" just up the road from the house. And for food...all you need is El Verde's at the bottom of the hill and Ralph'sl! If you're looking for a relaxing vacation where you only have to deal with crowds when you want to...this is absolutely the PERFECT spot. We all had a great time and can't thank Ray and Gwen enough!!
