We had a spectacular time in your apartment, in San Quirico d'Orcia, in Tuscany, and throughout Italy. Your town is quite beautiful; we spent many hours walking, exploring, and enjoying it. It was one of many great surprises in our wonderful trip to your homeland.
Thanks again. Take care. God bless you.
My husband and I traveled with another couple to this quaint village in the heart of Tuscany. The house was exactly as it was described and was well appointed and very comfortable. All of the arrangements were handled without any incident and Giacomo sent a nice note, along with our deposit, after our stay. His brother came to the property while we were visiting to be sure we were comfortable and that all was well. This property was near everything we wanted to see and it was an easy walk into town or a short drive to nearby locations. The stay was perfect and we would recommend to other travelers. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
We spent 5 nights at the Pagona's very welcoming and modern condominium in San Quirico. It is the perfect set up for two couples travelling together.
We really enjoyed sitting in the garden or on the balcony with a glass of wine after spending the day exploring the lovely hill towns of Tuscany!
The kitchen is very well equipped and the grill in the garden is an added bonus as we discovered an excellent butcher shop just a short walk down the road from the condo and decided to prepare a "Tuscan Dinner" for a couple of our evenings.
The condo is close to town and we were able to walk to restaurants, the grocery store, the local produce store, bakery along with the very good butcher shop!
Giacomo was great to deal with on the rental and we would not hesitate to return on our next trip to Tuscany!
We stayed in this condo in early March, and found it clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for our visit in Tuscany. It is located close to many lovely hill towns and Siena, and the surrounding countryside is captivating, even in early March. The wifi worked well, and the set-up was perfect for two couples or a family, with two bathrooms. We loved the towel warmer/dryer feature, especially because we got caught in the rain several times and had some wet clothes. Our only difficulty was in initally locating the condominium. We arrived after dark, and our dated GPS didn't register this address. Eventually, the townspeople helped direct us to the unit. I might recommend getting driving directions from the owner, or arriving is daylight. The outdoor space would be terrific in better weather, and the village itself was picturesque and had plenty of restaurants and a good grocery story. Thanks for a great stay - hope to return!.
my husband and i stayed in the modern condo for the month of September 2012. It was in a wonderful little town and in a fantastic location to see Tuscany. We could walk anywhere in San Quirico to get what we needed, eat out or just sightsee. We drove to many towns all over Tuscany with a rental car . The condo was very comfortable. We experienced "little Tuscany", not the large cities. The owner was very nice and very accomodating to us. We'd recommend this condo for a quiet, modern, slow placed place to stay as home base. My recommendaton to the owner would be to have some cable channels in English. There were none. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
My wife and I just left Casa Delle Valle and must say it was a great place....very comfortable, well equipped, and very clean...each day we took a day trip to surrounding cities...including Siena, Lucca, Pienza (great place), Collodi (home of Pinochhio), Lucca....and even Deruta near Assisi (famous for ceramics)....a bit of advice....for longer treks take the Autostrada...the little country roads can really get bogged down with traffic
We are two fifty something couples and very much enjoyed our stay here in the heart of beautiful Tuscany and the Val d'Orcia area. A short stroll into a charming town with great restaurants and easy access to other wonderful villages to visit. We even managed a day trip to Assisi. Loved your check in procedure permitting us to arrive anytime and not having to worry about meeting someone. Bedrooms were separate allowing privacy and I enjoyed having a bath tub! Relaxed with wine and some local cheese on the terrace before strolling into town for dinner! A wonderful, but too short, stay in Tuscany. Looking forward to returning. Would have liked to have had computer access to email home but certainly understand why it's not for guests.
Incredible hot springs and well being spas located in the following locations: Bagno Vignoni, Bagni di San Filippo, Bagni di San Casciano, Terme Sensoriali, Terme di Saturnia and Grotte Giusti.
