North Carolina, has it's 'Outer Banks' located (in the North) from the VA state line to the South Western end of Emerald Isle. The NC Outer Banks include Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hill, Corrolla, Cape Hatteras, Ocracoke, Core Banks, Cape Lookout, Shackleford Banks and Bogue Banks where Emerald Isle is located. All these island-banks are separated from the NC mainland by large water areas including:
Currituck Sound, Albemarle Sound, Pamlico Sound, Core Sound and Bogue Sound.
The town of Emerald Isle (lies East - West) has the Atlantic Ocean on it's southern shoreline and Bogue Sound on it's northern shoreline. It is at the lower end of NC's Outer Banks.
We just want to send extra thank you for your delicious condiments.
We have truly enjoyed them. My compliments to the chef.
Once again we thank you for sharing your home so that our family could make summer memories.
May God Bless you and your family during the coming year.
Hope to see you in 2014 for the 4th summer in a row,
ps We gave your name and adddress to a co-worker who is very interested in the possibility of renting The Island Oasis for a few days.
We really enjoyed our stay at your beach house.
I can't think of a thing that needs to be improved or added to better serve your future guest.
The place we stayed at last year was nice but not as nice as yours. It had more rooms that were not needed by our crowd. It rented for over $4,000.00 during the off season weeks. This year they raised the price much higher. Not for us any longer.
Yours was perfect for us. Stairs are hard for my husband and I, so your chair lift was welcomed relief for us.
You have everything perfect for us. Size, comfort, privacy and very reasonable price. It was very nice and just what we needed.
I hope to come back soon. Thanks a bunch

Happy New Year!
After staying at the Oasis three straight years and then taking two years off,
we are looking to coming back to NC for some rest and relaxation.
Your house is by far the best family vacations we have had.
Thanks again for the August 2013 reservation.
We had a wonderful time staying this year for the first time in this lovely home. It had everything we needed. The pics are good but the house is nicer than the pics give. The owners really took alot of time decorating and making sure everything down to really nice pot and pans!! I had 4 teenagers that took over the pool in the afternoons and rode the bikes everywhere! They actually beg to stay! Steve was really easy to work with, I had no problems with any of the reservations and directions. The book was very detailed that they provided with all the information about the house, parking, restaurants and all the other information needed. Thanks again for letting us use this property for another family fun and rememberable vacation!!
My family of 13- ages 3-57- stayed at this property 8/8-8/14. We had a wonderful time and didn't feel crowded at all. The owners are more than willing to answer any questions and are very quick to respond. The two levels of living area was especially nice. We received "rental" info prior to arriving- the how-to's, what-not's and so on- and that proved extremely helpful as we were able to acquaint ourselves with the property before arriving. The location was great- close to everything we needed but still felt private. The chair lift was helpful too.The photos don't quite reflect the size of the house- it looks smaller than it actually is. I would absolutely recommend this property to someone and would return again if vacationing in Emerald Isle.
We recently returned from spending a week at your wonderful property on Emerald Isle. What a great place! We arrived to find it so clean and welcoming. We didn't have to do a thing but settle in. Best feature was the pool and all the outside furnishings (loungechairs, swing, hammocks, umbrellas, etc.) We found ourselves in the pool the biggest part of the day. As a matter of fact, some of us never even went down to the beach at all. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I must say, the "neighborhood cat" got quite a workout but kept coming back. Do you think it was because we kept feeding him? The grandkids loved him. Thank you so much for your hospitality - you provided everything - even bikes! Would highly recommend.
The house was great and we had a wonderful time. We stayed during the week of the 4th with 4 adults, two teenagers and 2 little ones. We found the house to be extremely accomodating for our needs. There was a surprise around every corner. The pool was great, plenty of hammocks to relax in and the privacey within the back yard was enjoyable. We hosted a birthday dinner for my wife and Mom. We had about 14 attend altogether and there was lots of room for everyone to sit and enjoy their meal. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. The owner Steve is very accomodating and is there to answer any questions you may have. Thanks Steve, we had a great time.
