Beautiful new home in the heart of the White Mtns offering the best of all worlds: enjoy the peace and serenity of a private mountain setting, yet with close and easy access to all the major attractions and activities this spectacular region serves up. Just 8 minutes to the charming center of Woodstock or Lincoln (both with all their shops and dining options), with Franconia Notch & the Kancamagus just around the corner from there! Also mere seconds to lesser-known waterfalls, hiking trails and picturesque spots on the Pemi for swimming, tubing, kayaking, sunning, etc. Golf at the Jack-O in two minutes! Of course, reaching all 3 major ski resorts (Loon/Cannon/Wateville) couldn't be easier as we are centrally located just off 93. OR STAY PUT AND RELAX: families will love this spacious alternative to condos, with three levels to spread out, incl. walk-out family room that opens to yard with brook the kids can explore. Must be 25 to rent. No smoking. No Pets.

Clean, comfortable and quiet, yet convenient to everything, 'The Bear House' is a great alternative to crowded condos and hotels. And without having to park a mile from the door!. This is NOT an investment property...it is our home away from home and we use the Bear House as many weekends and non-school days as we can, so we make sure it as welcoming as it can be. We can accommodate most requests. Must be 25 to rent the house. NO SMOKING. NO PETS.

Other Activities: Golfing less than a mile & snowmobiling as well as nearby lakes ( 5 mins ).

Ski & Snowshoe weekend

We just got back from a long weekend of snowshoeing. We were 6 adults & three children 6, 9 & 10. The kids hung out in the basement with their game cube. Four of the adults and the three children skied Loon and said it was very close and easy to get to.

We will definitely look into renting again.

Beautiful House

We spent a long weekend during foliage season at Bear House and thoroughly enjoyed the our stay. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds are real beds (not pull-out couches) and the couches are real couches (not futons). The mountain views are beautiful, the yard was nice for the kids to play in, and the cul-de-sac would've been perfect for the kids to use their bikes if we had thought of it! Lincoln (skiing, food, etc.) is just a short drive, so the house is very convenient! Can't think of anything negative to say at all!

New Ski House

We had a great weekend at the "Bear House".

It is very close to Loon and Waterville Valley is only 20 Minutes away.

The house is like new and very clean.

There was plenty of room for all 14 of us. We used 2 Inflatable Mattresses for our annual family ski trip.

The owners were very accomodating and even arranged to return a few items that were left behind in one of the closets.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay, the home was very comfortable and spacious. Really nice view of the moutains from the living room and kitchen. Downstairs was perfect for the kids to play around. The owner and agent was very helpful when we had questions. Would definetly rent the house again.

We really loved the house. It was neat and clean and very comfortable. The house is located very near to the White mountains and other places of interest.

The owners were more than friendly , they did not mind when we called at mid night to locate the place. A lovely vaccation home, I recommend to all who wants a trip to New Hampshire.
