Located in Surfside Shores, this unique cottage wraps its arms around you from the minute you pull in the driveway! The house sits on a quiet street on a heavily-wooded lot on top of a dune one block off of the beach, with empty lots on three sides, affording an unusual degree of privacy. Less than 500 feet to the beach (private wooded path through a beautiful beach dune), there is a partial Gulf view from the back deck and screened in porch and an excellent view from the upper deck. A secluded outside shower provides a perfect way to cool off after a stroll back from the beach. With tiled floors throughout, unique and tasteful furniture and artwork, open floor plan, pleasing color schemes, the style is reminiscent of an old island plantation home. Master Bedroom with private bath and 2nd br with two full beds upstairs, and bedroom suite downstairs (separate entrance). Open floor plan, screened in porch, sundeck, full kitchen, fireplace. This is not your run-of- the mill rental!
Description:: This cottage has a very romantic feel to it. It is tastefully appointed and has a warm, festive atmosphere. It is also very private, you have the beach to yourself on most days. All furnishings are brand new and we did not furnish it with the typical condo-style furniture. It has been owner-occupied for 7 years, which is evident by the landscaping and decor. Our cottage is perfect for the couple wanting to get away from the crowds in a special atmosphere. If you choose to stay here, I promise you will want to come again and again!
