Black Bear Lodge, one of the area's newest condo properties, has 25 luxury units at the base of Crested Butte Mountain. The new quad West Wall Lift is directly across the street. The condo is a corner unit with super views of four 12,000 foot peaks from the living room. We face to the South and West so sunrises and sunsets are magnificent! The condo is a second home so it is fully equipped and well furnished. It is a warm home with in-floor radiant heat that allows you to walk barefooted on tile. We have a heated underground garage, ski storage off the large lobby, an oversized hot tub and a stainless BBQ grill. Crested Butte is in a rugged area of the Colorado Rockies with incredible scenery. The town is a National Historic District with a wild, wild west charm. It has wonderful restaurants and plentiful shopping. Summers and falls are beautiful times to be in Crested Butte, with hiking, golf, rafting and sightseeing as popular activities

In 2004, the Crested Butte Mountain Resort was purchased by new owners who plan to invest over $300 million in improvements. By the 2007-2008 ski season, three new quad lifts have been added, snow making had been greatly expanded and grooming was enhanced tremendously. Additionally, more intermediate terrain has been added and more is planned. Lift lines are almost non-existent at CB. We are far enough away from Denver so that we don't get weekend skiers.

  • We accept PayPal. 10% Discount for 7 or more nights. Monthly rates are negotiable. We pay for cleaning. Payment to book is 50% of rental plus a security/damage deposit of $250. The balance of the rental plus 12.5% sales and lodging tax is due 60 days before arrival. The security/damage deposit is refundable after cleaning assuming no damage. Keys and instructions are mailed 30 days prior to arrival.
