This fantastic 1 bedroom mini-suite (Unit #229), located at Villa's By The Sea on Jekyll Island, is nestled among the stately oaks and offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere which is perfect for couples and children. Our condo is a second floor unit and located approximately 100 yards from the ocean and Villa's swimming pool. There is a wonderful playground for children including a large wooden ship called the 'USS Never Sail'.

Jekyll Island is considered a state park and the island is limited to no more than 35% development. You will find that Jekyll is not over commercialized which allows for peaceful walks on the beach, nature viewing, bicycle trails around the entire island, three 18-hole golf courses, one 9-hole course, 13 fast-dry clay tennis courts, Summer Waves Waterpark (seasonal), horseback riding and many other amenities.

This unit is managed through Parker-Kaufman, Realtors and you will need to contact them for telephone reservations. The toll free number is listed below. Their office is located in the Jekyll shopping center. During the in-season, we rent on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. During off-season times, we can be more flexible for weekly stays. We also offer 3, 4 & 5 night stays for last minute reservations. Please contact us for short stay rates. A 50% deposit is required for all stays and the balance is due upon arrival. Tax is 13% and there is a one-time $15.00 processing fee. Trip interruption insurance is available. Pets are welcome year round and a $150.00 pet fee is required. If bringing your pet, we do ask that you please try and keep them off the furniture and bedding as this prevents excessive wear and tear and helps us maintain lower rental rates. .

Geocaching, Red Bug (Electric Car) Rentals, Emerald Princess Casino Cruise, Airplane Tours, Lets Go Shrimping abord the Lady Jane. This is a US Coast Guard 49 passenger shrimping vessel. Enjoy a 2 hr. dolphin/shrimping cruise where you can help the crew sort shrimp from her catch and relax as the crew prepares 'all you can eat' boiled shrimp right on the boat! It doesn't get any better than this!

I love this little codo it was very cozy and neat,We went down in August 2011 with my Husband and our 3 dog, 2 are pitt bulls and a Coon Hound Everybody was very friendly to us and our dogs the Staff @ Parkers was very friendly and helpful but the ppl @ the front desk of the Villas were not so eager to please .. It was nice to go to the beach with our 3 dogs and let them run free w/o ppl being scared of them, your supposed to have them on a leash but once we got onto the beach we would take them off and let them run and play with each other! This was our secound trip to the Island and we plan on coming back for a 3rd ASAP!!!!!!!! Sea Jays on Jekyll was a very good place to eat and we also recommend Spanky's and Bennies Red Barn on St. Simsons !!!!! People are soo friendly here we just love the atmosphere of the Island!!!!!!!!!!!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: I am so happy you liked the Villa. Jekyll Island is a wonderful place for pets and so few places accomadate them. I am sorry you had a problem with the front desk staff. Please don't let that discourage you from returning to The Villas or Jekyll Island.We look forward to seeing you again.
