Ikena Makan at Tunnels Beach is 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Vacation Home with a brand new interior. This house is located only a few minute stroll to the famous Tunnels Beach. Located upstairs Ikena Makana is 'town-house' style, with a separate unit downstairs. Ikena Makana backs up to hundreds of acres of privately owned land, creating a beautiful back-drop and a very peaceful and serene environment. From the front deck you have a very partial ocean view and from the back deck your views are panoramic of the gorgeous Haena Mountains and Waterfalls... Spend your days at Ikena Makana relaxing on the decks with the trade winds cooling things off, or across the street snorkeling at the magnificent Tunnels Beach, which has been recently rated the #2 beach in our state. Quaint Hideaway!

Our family recently stayed at this charming 3 bedroom upstairs home in June, 2009. We were there for 9 days and felt this was the perfect place for a couple with 2 children ages 7 and 12. It is fully furnished with washer/dryer; cable; kitchen/dishes; towels/sheets; internet service; DVD player; and even beach toys/towels. It was super clean when we arrived and the occupants below us (Zack and his family) were very helpful and available for problems/questions. They were quiet at all times and as were the neighbors. It is a bit of a drive to get to places (you need a car ), but if you want quiet, privacy, relaxation, and a 5-minute walk to Tunnels Beach...this is ideal! I highly recommend this to a family. Beautiful Ke'e Beach and its spectacular sunsets is a 5 minute drive (it is at the end of the road and the start of NaPali Coastline.) This rental exceeded our expectations and made our trip quite memorable. We hope to return to this charming beach house!!
