Welcome to our newly remodeled 3 bedroom ski in/out town home in the small private development of Arrowhead Point. It is the quiet end unit nestled up against the hillside and the ski run 'Home Run', so you have lots of privacy and a very nice setting. This is our summer vacation home, so we've furnished and decorated it for our enjoyment, as well for our guests. This means you'll find extra amenities, a very fully furnished kitchen, nice patio furniture, a private hot tub and gas BBQ on our private patio, an 8 pair boot dryer, 4 TV/DVDs, a 5 disc changer stereo, 4 iPOD docks, plus over 150 DVD and VHS movies for your entertainment. Our major remodel included new heated slate flooring, a double shower in the main bath, and slate surround in the master bath; all new stainless appliances; a built-in entertainment center in the master bedroom; and all new paint, new blinds, bedding, and just this past summer (2009) new carpeting and as well as a fabulous new hot tub.

About Wendy McDougall

We are natives of Seattle, although spent 20 years in New Orleans. We bought our first property in Whistler in 2002, and after a year in the market, starting looking for the 'perfect' Whistler property, which we found in Arrowhead Point.

The location is remarkable, in that you can literally ski-in to our front door. We're the end unit, against the treed hillside and the ski run 'Home Run', so we have privacy and a wonderful setting. In the spring, summer, fall, enjoy one of the largest private patios in Whistler.

We've spent 11 years perfecting our system, and have completely renovated our home, to make it perfect for us and our guests.

Whistler - think Disneyland only with good food and snow. Besides the great winter sports and fantastic Whistler Village, it is also a great summer destination, with the largest mountain bike park in North America, several great lakes for water sports, white water rafting, and three championship golf courses.

Golf: Great golf courses just a 2 minute drive from our home.

Ski: We do have connections for the latest, best ski rental and lift ticket discounts.

The big promotion required a 4 day or longer lift ticket, with discounts of 15-25% if the ticket is purchased on-line before November 15th, 2009. We expect this same program in 10-11

We also have discounts on travel from Vancouver to Whistler.

Notes: This is our personal vacation home. You'll find that we have furnished it with most small appliances such as a coffee grinder, coffee maker, blender, toaster, crock pot, waffle maker, food processor, etc. The kitchen is also well supplied with dinnerware, glassware, and flatwear for at least 8, a great assortment of cookware, bakeware, and utensiles. There is an 8 pair boot dryer, full sized new front load washer dryer, ironing board, iron, hair dryers, etc. We also have about 150 DVDs and VCR tapes.

We had planned our trip to Whistler 10 months in advance, it was through luck that we found this place. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Everything was done in a professional and courteous manner. The additional information provided was essential as far as helping to prepare for the trip. The concierge, restaurant guide, and general advice was extremely helpful. The lodge's location is prime, you can walk right out to the mountain, strap up and make it to the base. Also, with the village shuttle because you are the last stop, it's easy and you don't have to fight everyone getting off. The lodge has a nice feeling, and as long as everyone who stays there takes care of it that feeling should stay. If you are planning on traveling with those who are not responsible enough, or want to party it up this isn't the place for you. If taken care of this is a wonderful place to stay! I would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: There's nothing better for an owner than to hear positive comments back from his guests. I love his advice to only stay if you're not going to "party". Hopefully, everyone will be just as pleased.

Great quiet location

The home was an excellent value for the money full of amenities. We ended up seeing 11 bears in one hour on a drive on Callaghan Road one night! The spa was nice and the end unit made the stay extremely private and quiet.

Fantastic Whistler Condo!

Our family (6 in total, two adults and four children) really enjoyed this Whistler condo. The Upper Village location is fantastic. Close to everything but quiet. The condo is very clean and comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised by the DVD movie collection, the books and the board games. We had a fantastic stay and plan on coming back soon. We highly recommend this rental

Hi Larry & Wendy, Thank you so much for lending us your condo - we had a wonderful visit with my 2 sisters & their spouses. Whistler was beautiful this time of year & not too crowded -- and the white water rafting was the best! We really enjoyed ourselves, in no small part because of the comfortable digs!
