Perfect Oregon Family Celebration
My husband and I wanted to take our family to the Playa Del Carmen area as a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. Casa Buena Suerte seemed to be just right to accommodate our family of ten. And it was perfect. Everything was just as the description reads. I had high expectations but I think the real thing was even better than I expected. I know we were closer to the ocean and beach than any of us expected. The house itself gives everyone plenty of individual space. The pools are beautiful. Unfortunately the weather during the time of our visit was on the cool side so we used only the roof top plunge pool which was heated. Our two 6 and 7 year old little girls practicaly lived in it. While there we did a day tour(Gray Line) to the Mayan Ruins at Chechenitsa (sp?). This I would highly recommend for all ages. We engaged the chef, Susan, for two meals. What a treat. She and her assisstant were most delightful plus preparing the most delicious food.
This trip was something I had been planning for two years. It met and surpased every expectation I had. I am 100% sure that Casa Buena Suerte was 95% the reason for that.
I might mention that the owner, Lisa, was most helpful in answering all of my questions, and I had many. She and her husband made the "business" part of this rental very easy. They were prompt and did everything when they said they would.
This is the 2nd property that we have stayed in through Home Away. Both have been great. No problems. We have another one booked for New York City in the fall. I hope it is as lovely.
The house was absolutely spotless!! I will say it is not a home to take toddlers.
