There were 5 of us staying at the condo (2 senior adults, our son and 2 grandchildren, ages 14 & 11.) Everyone had a fabulous time! We visited the Wright Brothers National Memorial, and all the lighthouses the Outer Banks had. The kids and their father enjoyed rolling down the largest sand dunes on the east coast at Jockey's Ridge State Park. My husband enjoyed kayaking. I saved a lot of money by cooking. The kitchen was well equipped and I found everything I needed. The beds were comfortable. My favorite thing was going out on the deck after everyone had gone to bed. The ocean view was spectacular, and the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach were relaxing. There were also rabbits and little gray foxes running around the grounds at night. The sunrises and sunsets were lovely, and there were lots of pelicans flying overhead. We did contact the owner about a ceiling light that needed repairing. A maintenance man was at our door within 15 min. and took care of everything. The owner answered all our questions in a timely manner and everything was just as they said it would be. We would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this rental to anyone who can do steps. There are no elevators.
