Laburnum Cottage is situated in the courtyard to the rear of Devonshire House, a discreet bed and breakfast establishment. With its own patio, seating area for 4, small pond and waterfall. The cottage has a quaint yet charming atmosphere, providing a welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of the World Heritage City of Bath. Only a 15 minutes pleasant walk into the wonderful city of Bath, with its many tourist haunts and historic past. The cottage itself is entered through a stable door directly into a fully fitted kitchen with dining area for 4. A short hall leads to the open plan lounge with sofa bed, TV, video and CD player. A shower room is situated off the hall. A romantic double bedroom is reached via a spiral staircase, with the roof windows creating a light and airy space, a WC and walk in wardrobe are on this mezzanine level. Free parking is on street or secure parking is available within the courtyard.

Bath is a World Heritage City, with historic links, fantastic architecture and is a must see for all visitors, its many sites include the famous Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent and the Jane Austen Museum. Newly opened in August 2006 is the Thermae Bath spa, the only natural spa in England which allows you to soak in the natural thermal waters of the city. Set in the heart of the West Country, Bath is surrounded by the Cotswolds, the Mendip Hills whilst having the National Trust villages of Lacock and Castle Combe on its doorstep. Stonehenge is only an hours drive away, Salisbury, Cardiff and Bristol are equidistant, making Bath a great base for any traveller. Wells, Glastonbury and Bradford on Avon are all close by.

    Deposit of 25% required to secure the reservation, full pre payment required 4 weeks prior to arrival

Around and about: The picturesque villages of Lacock and Castle Combe are about 30 minutes from Bath. Bradford on Avon, Glastonbury, Wells and the Cotswolds surround Bath. Wales is a 30 minute drive away.

What's on?~: May sees the Bath International Music Festival with an opening night extravaganza in the city. December sees the Christmas market set up in the Abbey Churchyard, a real festive treat. Experience a carol service at the stunning Bath Abbey or take in the pantomime at the Theatre Royal.

Other Activities: Visit the new Thermae Bath Spa and soak in their natural thermal waters.
