We have been renting in Wells for ten years, and past rentals simply do not compare to this immaculate, comfortable, and well-equipped cottage. The sunroom is a family favorite. Every year we are surprised by upgrades or replacements. For example, there are now storm windows in the sunroom, overhead fan in the kitchen, and plantation shutters in the bedrooms. If something begins to show wear, it is soon replaced. The cottage is in a very peaceful, relaxing location with very little traffic. Tennis courts are right there, and it is a short walk to the smaller pool. The activity book provided by the owners has introduced us to all kind of places and activities we wouldn't have known about - Forts Foster and McClary, the Children's Museum in Dover, NH, and the Albacore Museum in Portsmouth. There also are restaurant recommendations and information on beaches from Kittery to Old Orchard Beach.
